$20 per hour for 1 child

Hello, I'm Carlie! I was a nanny for a family with two children, ages 1 and 7 for just over 1 year. I then nannied for another family with two children ages 4 and 6 for just over 1 year. I am not nannying anymore because I moved to graduated from college and started working full time. I have paid experience with children from newborn to age 14. I am a very outgoing, reliable, and organized person. I have my own transportation, and I am also a non-smoker. I am also an animal lover, so very comfortable with pets! I have a 10-month-old golden retriever/ German shepherd mix. I am available for pet sitting, baby sitting occasionally, and housekeeping! I have experience housekeeping for 3 different households, one being an airbnb. (Washing bedding, laundry, cleaning bathrooms, floors, dusting, yard work, including watering flowers and mowing lawns). I also work from home, so in the case that you need baby/pet sitting during the day I could most likely arrange that. :)

Booked by 12 families in Long Lake, MN

Hi, my name is Zoe! I have worked with kids in various settings over the past 12 years as a babysitter, nanny, tutor, and ski instructor. My previous work has been with a wide range of ages from newborns to teenagers. I have experience working with different dietary restrictions and food allergies. I am trained on how to use an epipen and have previously been CPR certified. Currently, I am a student at Concordia University in St. Paul studying Child Learning and Development. I enjoy crafts, the outdoors, reading, and staying active. One of my favorite parts of working with kids is engaging in imaginative play. I love helping kids explore their surroundings as well encouraging them to use their minds to solve problems and come up with new ideas. I place a high value on play and feel it is fundamental to the growth and development of children. Through play children gain new skills and understand the world better. As a caregiver it is an honor to be apart of children’s play experiences. I believe that it is important to guide children so they can develop critical thinking skills rather than giving them all the answers or simply doing it for them. My hope is to not only help children flourish but to see families thrive. Along with supporting children my goal is to support parents so that at the end of the day families can engage in meaningful play together. Please feel free to reach out with any questions.

Zoe was fantastic with our kids. She arrived on time and was thoughtful. We were able to enjoy the evening out without worries. Would absolutely recommend and have again! Thank you!

$18 per hour for 1 child

I’m a 24 year old, college educated caregiver with a BFA in Graphic Design and a strong background in childcare. I have experience nannying for a 4 and 7 year old, and I’ve been a consistent caregiver for my 3 year old niece since she was 4 months old. I have a big imagination and love encouraging imaginative play, outdoor exploration, and creative activities. I bring a warm, patient, and playful approach to childcare and enjoy supporting kids as they grow, learn, and express themselves.

I’m so happy to recommend my Sister, Brianna Pothen, as an absolutely wonderful babysitter for our family. I have a very energetic three-year-old daughter and a newborn son, so finding someone patient, engaged, and truly present with the kids has been a game-changer—and that’s exactly what Brianna is. She is incredible at keeping my toddler happily entertained without ever relying on screens. We both share the same philosophy about limiting screen time, and I love that she never turns on the TV or hands over a tablet “just to keep him quiet.” The only exception is the rare occasion when she pops on something calming for ten minutes while she’s preparing dinner for the kids—and even then she feels guilty about it! Otherwise, it’s arts and crafts, dress-up, silly made-up games, “restaurant” with play food, blanket forts, dance parties, you name it. My daughter literally jumps up and down screaming her name when she hears she’s coming over. She talks about “the funny games we made up with “Auntie Boo” for days afterward. With the baby she’s equally gentle and attentive—rocking, singing, soothing, changing diapers without ever being asked. She somehow manages both ages beautifully, giving my newborn the calm he needs while still making my three-year-old feel like the most special big sister on earth. Brianna is responsible, punctual, communicative, and genuinely loves what she does. We trust her completely and feel so lucky to have found someone who parents the way we do—lots of creativity, laughter, and real connection, almost no screens. Any family would be fortunate to have her!

Hello! I have over 10 years of childcare experience for children ages 0-11. For previous families I have served as a summertime nanny, a driver to and from various camps, an after school pick up person, and a weekend daytime sitter. I tend to be more outgoing with a love for singing and dancing as well as reading books, baking, and playing guitar. In addition to childcare I've also been a pet sitter for both dogs and cats, with experience with up to seven animals in a home at one time. I am a recent graduate of West Virginia University with a degree in acting (perfect for storytimes!). I'm fully vaccinated and a strong swimmer.

"When we hired Amani, we felt like we hit the jackpot. We were very lucky to find her on UrbanSitter at the beginning of school year. She was picking up kids from school, taking them to afternoon activities, helping them with assignments. She prepped food for them, helped organize their closets and keep their spaces neat and orderly. We would hire her again in a heartbeat."
