$35 per hour for 1 child
Booked by 5 families in Mountainside, NJ

Hi, my name is Carine, and I’m an energetic and creative 28 year old! I have my associates degree in history and am just shy of having enough credits for an associates in early childhood education as well. I will be continuing to obtain my bachelors degree soon in hopes of pursuing a career in teaching.  I have been nannying professionally for the last 5 years. I recently moved back from New Jersey, where I was a live in nanny for 2 years. I worked for that family, which consisted of 3 boys aged 2, 4, and 6, for the last 4 years. I was responsible for: school and extracurricular pickups and drop-offs, meals, after-school help, occasional nighttime routines, and occasional overnights. I have worked for quite a few families in the last 5 years with children that ranged from newborn to 12 years old. Please feel free to request references! My focus is on giving your child a safe, routine-focused, and creative space to learn and grow into a wonderful person. I love doing crafts, baking, pretend play, encouraging independent time, and outings when appropriate. I’m firm but kind, and will work with you on any challenges your child may come to face. I have my own car, I’m a nonsmoker, and I am comfortable with pets of any kind. I look forward to meeting you!

Plainfield
$25 per hour for 1 child
Booked by 4 families in Mountainside, NJ

Hi! I’m a friendly, patient, and responsible college student with experience caring for children of different ages. I love playing, doing creative activities, and helping with homework. I’m also happy to help with light cooking, kids’ laundry, and driving to activities. I’m someone families can count on, and I enjoy making kids feel safe, supported, and happy.

Fiorella did a wonderful job caring for our 3- and 9-year-old. She was professional, patient, and connected with both kids right away despite their very different ages and needs. Our toddler felt comfortable and engaged, and our older child enjoyed her company as well. We felt completely confident leaving them in her care. Highly recommend!

"When we hired Amani, we felt like we hit the jackpot. We were very lucky to find her on UrbanSitter at the beginning of school year. She was picking up kids from school, taking them to afternoon activities, helping them with assignments. She prepped food for them, helped organize their closets and keep their spaces neat and orderly. We would hire her again in a heartbeat."
