Hi! I’m Mia, a student at Hunter College in NYC. I have experience helping families with childcare, school pickups, homework support, meal preparation, and household responsibilities. I enjoy getting to know each child’s personality and creating a positive environment where they feel comfortable, supported, and engaged. Whether it’s reading together, helping with homework, spending time outdoors, or simply being part of their daily routine, I always aim to make each day enjoyable and productive. I’m dependable, patient, and adaptable, and I understand that every family has different needs and routines. In addition to childcare, I’m happy to assist with pet care, light housekeeping, laundry, errands, and organization. I value being someone families can depend on and enjoy building strong relationships with both children and parents through consistency, kindness, and open communication.

“Last minute I went to dinner with friends and Mia watched my 8 year old. She was awesome!”

Hi ya’ll, I’m Meka! 🍁FALL 2026❗️ 🍂Parents/Guardians get ready to go 👣 out & enjoy yourselves! (I’ll even tag along to provide care for the children!) I’m available for 🛤outings, ⛲️date-night, 🏟events, work etc. I live in 🌆 Manhattan. It’s always important for you to have alone time/adult time/me-time. Being a Parent is hard work so giving yourself some time dedicated just for you, is important❗️ I adore working with children. I want to be that “safe space/person” that children can talk to & feel comfortable. So much trauma occurs at a young age & sometimes doesn’t show up until adulthood. I’m passionate about mental health. & I have experience with those that are with special needs. (Also helping assist family members on the spectrum). I work in the PCICU as a CNA 🏪 & I’m CPR certified. I do have a teen of my own. Don’t be alarmed🚨I look young in person! 💁🏾‍♀️🧬 but hey, the kiddies gravitate towards me since I look young! I’ll be with them on the playground obstacles and jungle gyms! I understand the anxiety of leaving your children with other people. That’s why I LOVE when there’s cameras 📷 in the home❗️IF anything were to happen, we can watch the tape 📼 together, no problem! 🙂 🚨Please state at the time of booking, if your child is sick. So I can choose whether or not I want to proceed with the job. I do want to protect my other families that I work with as well as myself & mine.🚨 If you cancel last minute, you agree to pay half of the total pay amount agreed. Another family could have booked me. I’ve had many last minute cancellations, and declined other families that I could have cared for. 👍🏾PLEASE leave a review after a job is done. It helps not only myself, but I’m sure you’d feel better reading feedback from other parents experience. Thanks so much❗️😊

“Meka was awesome!! Clear communication, thoughtful, and all-around great. It was our first time booking with Meka (and with urbansitter)…would book with her again!”

Hello, my name is Solanje and I'm a mother of a 3-year-old little girl, so I know what's it's like to be responsible, patient, loving, and caring. I have a huge family with kids and I’m always the person who babysits. Before I became a mother I was always babysitting my boy cousins for 2 years since they were babies until grade school age. I would also would watch my niece when my big sister would go out or if she needed help. I watched my niece since she was a new born baby till now she’s currently 5 years old. My older brother recently had a baby boy in April, my baby nephew turned 8 months December 6th. I also watched my adorable nephew occasionally since he was born till now. I truly enjoy watching babies they are too adorable and precious. I would change diapers, following sleep schedule and soothing them to sleep, take walks out while the baby are in the stroller to get fresh air, make their milk and feed it to them, wash the bottles, bathing, feeding baby food when the babies reached 6 months, tummy time, read books, sing songs, and lots of play time. Some activities I do with children would be going the park to play🪁,bubbles🫧,dance parties, hopscotch, make slime, stacking blocks, teaching sign language, pretend play with dolls and cars, story time📚,sensory bins, soccer ⚽️, puzzles🧩,puppet shows, arts and crafts like finger painting🎨, scavenger hunt games, balloon volleyball and more. I maintained a safe, structured, and stimulating environment for daily routines such as cognitive and emotional development through play-based activities.I communicated regularly with parents sending pictures giving updates on how the baby was doing. I'm confident, loving, and very reliable, I will treat your kids like I treat mine with love and patience and I'm lots a fun. I love to cook, especially baking sweets from scratch on special occasions for my daughter since I personally like to know what’s in the food I make for her. I always try to add something nutritious in her food and sweets like mini pumpkin pies I made last thanksgiving for her I didn’t use sugar I used organic maple syrup to add sweetness and she loved it. If you have pets that's great because I have a puppy and her name is Snow she a Bichon. I attend at Hostos College. My major is licensed practical nurse and my passion is working with kids. I’m open to being a long term babysitter/nanny or just an occasional babysitter. My schedule is flexible! Feel free to reach out🫶🏽

“ Solanje is very experienced with children and we had a great experience. Will definitely book Solanje in the future.”

Hello! My name is Evelyn. I’m 27 years old and a caring, reliable, and professional babysitter with over six years of experience working with children. I am currently pursuing my MBA at Baruch College in New York after earning my Bachelor’s degree in Sociology. My studies gave me a deeper understanding of child development, family dynamics, communication, and social behavior, which helps me better understand each child’s unique needs and build positive relationships with both children and parents. After attending college and working with children for three years, I proudly served four years in the U.S. Army, where I strengthened my leadership, responsibility, patience, and organizational skills. My military experience helped me become calm under pressure, dependable, and adaptable, qualities that I bring to every family I work with. Caring for children has always been my passion, and I love creating a safe, happy, and engaging environment through play, learning, and positive interaction. In my free time, I enjoy working out, reading, cooking, and staying organized. Spanish is my first language, and I’m happy to speak Spanish with children if parents would like to introduce or reinforce the language at home. I’m proud to have many wonderful reviews and repeat families. References are available upon request.

“Evelyn was very responsive and thoughtful. She did a great job communicating before and throughout the job. Would definitely book her again if we came back! ”

"When we hired Amani, we felt like we hit the jackpot. We were very lucky to find her on UrbanSitter at the beginning of school year. She was picking up kids from school, taking them to afternoon activities, helping them with assignments. She prepped food for them, helped organize their closets and keep their spaces neat and orderly. We would hire her again in a heartbeat."
