Hi! I’m Roxy. I started babysitting almost 15 years ago and have since worked as a nanny/babysitter and in education, from working in classrooms and private tutoring to developing an SEL curriculum for elementary school-aged girls. In this time, I’ve worked with children of all ages and have really enjoyed getting to know the different milestones, interests, and needs that come with each age. I believe in helping children develop curiosity, compassion, independence, and social awareness from a young age by giving them space to express themselves and explore the world around them, while also helping them learn to understand and regulate big feelings and navigate relationships with others. I have a bachelor’s degree and speak some Spanish and a little Arabic. I’m also infant and pediatric CPR/first aid certified, comfortable with pets, and have a clean driving record. I’m happy to provide references from families I’ve previously worked for. I’m ideally looking for full-time or near-full-time work with a baby or toddler who isn’t in school yet, but I’m also open to part-time care, nanny shares, and one-time babysitting when my schedule allows. Hi! I’ve got over 14 years of experience as a nanny/babysitter. I love to be active, get outside and creative with kids! I’m a big fan of walks and park play dates! I have a lot of experience with children of all ages. The most recent family I worked with regularly has three children; a five-year-old, a 22-month-old and a three-year-old. Hi! I'm Shterna, and I'm 27 years old. I grew up in central Brooklyn in a big family of 11, with 28 nieces and nephews (ages 0-16) and over 100 first cousins. Being surrounded by kids my whole life, I naturally picked up childcare early on. *I will be graduating with a Bachelor's in Psychology in July of 2027 (My classes are at 7:30 PM twice a week so my school schedule does not impede my daytime/full-time availability)* I started working with kids professionally in middle school as a babysitter and summer camp counselor. After finishing school in 2018, I primarily worked as a nanny (with a brief stint in corporate) and continue to nanny today. I have lots of experience with newborns, multiples, classrooms (of infants, toddlers, and junior high-school) long shifts, overnights and weekends, children who are unwell, working in two-parent households, and transporting kids around the city.
