From 2009 onward, I volunteered in different educational capacities to gain experience. In the summers of 2012 and 2013, I landed my first job working for the City of Fremont as a recreational aide. I planned the curriculum, led activities, and supervised the children. Later, I worked at Children's Fairyland for almost two years. In October 2014, I began working at Hortensia's Way preschool, where I stayed for almost seven years. I cared for infants from four months to children up to eight years of age. I enjoyed working at a preschool because I had the opportunity to work with a diverse group of children, and I loved seeing them learn and grow.
