I’m a dependable, patient, and caring caregiver with experience supporting children, seniors, and families. I’ve worked in school and youth-centered environments, as well as provided home care for seniors. I’m attentive, organized, responsible, and a strong communicator. I can assist with homework, meals, daily routines, activities, light housekeeping, companionship, and maintaining a safe, comfortable environment. I have direct experience working with kids from spending many summers as a counselor/aide at my own summer camp throughout high school, an education intern both at an environmental camp and a local zoo, and from nannying a 3 year old for 6 months. In addition to that, I am a big sister and because of that I've always had a parenting/maternal side to myself unlocked. I love being outside, playing games, and I am very crafty (painting, drawing, clay/sculpture, collages, dress-up). I also have 3 years experience as a pet walker/sitter and am always open to pet care opportunities as well.

Hello to all! I am a rising Junior at Columbia University studying philosophy looking to babysit. I have worked babysitting jobs before back home in DC for parents of my school. Throughout those experiences, I've always appreciated the connection I was able to form with the kids as I watched them progress and grow. I have also worked as a soccer coach for refugee children through a program offered at my high school. Through this experience I was able to better understand how to lead groups of kids for physical activity while also making sure they are just having fun. Furthermore, I come from an international background and can speak three languages (English, French, and German) and really enjoy imparting some linguistic knowledge on the kids who are willing to learn. In doing this job, it is my goal to be someone the kid can laugh with, learn with, and play games with as I take the weight of having children off your shoulders for hours at a time.
