Hi! My name is Zaylee, and I'm a student going into my junior year at the University of Oregon. I love working with children and enjoy creating a safe, fun, and positive environment where they can learn, play, and feel comfortable.
One of my most valuable experiences was working as an aide at Moss Street Children's Center in Eugene, where I cared for children ages 1–5. I assisted in multiple classrooms, supported daily routines, led activities, and learned how to meet the unique needs of children at different developmental stages.
When I return to California during my school breaks, I babysit for a wonderful family who has continued to invite me back each summer and winter. Building that lasting relationship has been incredibly rewarding and has strengthened my passion for childcare.
I'm also lucky to have four nieces and one nephew under the age of 12, so caring for children has always been a big part of my life. Whether we're doing crafts, reading books, playing outside, or helping with homework, I love keeping kids engaged while making sure they feel safe and supported.
I'm CPR certified, have a current Food Handler's License, and have reliable transportation. I'm happy to help with school pick-ups, driving to activities, homework, light housekeeping, running errands, and preparing simple meals and snacks.
I believe every family has different needs, and I'm flexible, dependable, patient, and eager to help however I can. My goal is to give parents peace of mind while making sure their children have a fun, caring, and positive experience.
I look forward to meeting your family!
