I'm passionate about working with children and making a positive impact. I have years of experience, including two years of paid work. I'm comfortable caring for up to three kids, enforcing rules, and updating parents. I enjoy board games, educational activities, and outdoor play. I can help with meals, light housekeeping, and pet care. I'm eager to partner with your family to provide nurturing care. I'm funny, patient, and friendly. I want a job that teaches and helps me grow. Working with kids always brings new learning experiences. I started working with kids by watching my younger brother and helping in a preschool. For the past two summers, I've worked as a teacher for a school program, leading lessons and ensuring the children's safety. In my free time, I enjoy reading, listening to music, and baking. I'm creative, a good listener, and empathetic. I can make connections with individuals and assist children based on their comfort levels.

We had such a wonderful experience with Faith as our babysitter! ❤️ She did an amazing job taking care of my kiddos. She was so friendly, caring, patient, and kind with them. My kids absolutely loved her and felt so comfortable with her. It was clear that she genuinely cared about them and made sure they were happy, safe, and well taken care of. I highly recommend Faith—she did a fantastic job, and we would definitely have her babysit again! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I grew up in a family of 5 and I’m the middle child, we all have children and I’m surrounded by children. I love to cook, I’m a very good cook and grocery shopper as well! I love children. I have 2 grandchildren and they are the light of my light. I helped raise them until they moved to Oklahoma when they were 9 and 11. I cooked, cleaned, took them to church, school, helped with homework, all the extra things their Mom needed help with. My mother lived with me the last 5 years of her life. She was sick the last 2. She was on home hospice with me the last 6 months of her life and I was her caregiver. When I was in my early 20’s I was a CNA in a couple of nursing homes, so I knew what to do. I took the last year of work off to be with her. I loved taking care of her. I’m a very loving Christian woman and I would love to take care of your family. I love dogs too and I’m happy to pet sit as well! I have decided to not go back to high pressure sales and be of service to a nice family that needs a nice older woman that has some energy and experience.

I’m a loving and committed teacher with years of experience teaching and working with children ages birth to 6 in a variety of settings. I was the owner and provider of Early Years Development Center for many years, I also worked in preschools and infant toddler programs over 10 years in the greater Portland Metropolitan area. I have an Associates degree in Early childhood education, current CPR/ First aid. I have taken many trainings related to the field including Safe back to sleep, I have a passion for Early Childhood learning and play, and learning and discovering new things. I love animals, travel, reading, walking and my Corgi dog Lucy!

Kristi was my children's favorite daycare/preschool teacher! My children are now 7 and 3 years old, and Kristi cared for them from ages 3 years and 3 months, respectively. Kristi was quick to establish a trusting relationship with both children. She fostered bonds through play, kindness, and sensitivity to each child’s personality and needs. Kristi was always the first to offer engagement and comfort when we walked through the door in the morning. Her proactive, upbeat attitude always helped make transitions easier on everyone and won the kids over in the process. We always felt secure leaving our infant in Kristi’s capable and experienced hands. We also appreciated Kristi’s consistent and clear communication. She was our best source for funny anecdotes about our kids, issues that we should track at home, photos of the kids’ daily activities, and generally keeping us in the loop. We are so grateful to have had Kristi be there with our kids and for our kids over the past four years- we highly recommend her!

"When we hired Amani, we felt like we hit the jackpot. We were very lucky to find her on UrbanSitter at the beginning of school year. She was picking up kids from school, taking them to afternoon activities, helping them with assignments. She prepped food for them, helped organize their closets and keep their spaces neat and orderly. We would hire her again in a heartbeat."
