Taleesa, 51 of age 28 year experience as a state certified caregiver. I’m also state licensed forensic phlebotomist. I decided to become an independent caregiver after taking care of my grandparents and god mother. I love to hear to old and goodie stories from the elderly. This has been my dream since childhood.

My name is Rose, and I am graduating from Auburn University this August in Nursing! I just moved to Charleston to work as a Pediatric Nurse at MUSC following graduation! I worked at a preschool for children ages 2-5, and I have babysat throughout my time in college for children ages 1-6. I have worked at various summer camps, one that was ages K5-5 and focused on teaching campers how to be money-smart, understand wants vs. needs, and practice philanthropy. The other was an overnight summer camp for ages 12-17. Lastly, I mentored a 7-year-old little boy each week through an organization called Project Uplift. Project Uplift is a volunteer organization to help children develop constructive, happy lives who face many obstacles. I normally describe it as being similar to a big brother / big sister program!

Hi my name is Vanessa. I’m a mother of 6 children! I have also been a birth doula and post-partum doula so I have lots of experience with babies and children. I homeschooled for 25 years using different curriculums. Tutoring is definitely part of my skills set. My children were in the youth orchestra and also participated in gymnastics and travel soccer so I am adept at juggling schedules and handling teens. I have managed a household including cooking, cleaning and maintaining a house. I also used to assist a Siberian husky dog breeder so I am capable of handling and caring for large dogs and small alike. I am artist. I studied painting as my undergraduate degree. I have taught different ages from 5-55 the art of drawing and painting. My grandmother is still alive and well at 94! I have taken care of her on many occasion meeting all the demands of medication, meals, and physical care. If needed I can assist in household chores from Dishes to laundry to tidying up.

Hi! I recently moved to Charleston after graduating from the University of Georgia in May and am excited to start babysitting and making connections with families in a new city! I have been babysitting since age 13 and since then have babysat and nannied for children of all ages for many families in both my home town and college town. Most recently, I spent my four years of college nannying for a family with four children ages 9 months, 3, 5, and 7 years old when I started until they were 3, 6, 8, and 10 years old this year when I graduated. I also have worked in the infant and toddler nursery at my church for four years and worked as an After School Program Leader at Downtown Academy, a local elementary school with grades Pre-K through 5th in my college town of Athens, Georgia. I just graduated from nursing school, where I also experienced working with children in clinical rotations at both Piedmont Athens Regional hospital and the Children's Healthcare of Atlanta hospital. I am CPR/BLS certified. I love making strong connections with families and forming relationships with kids of all ages. I most enjoy playing creatively with the kids I babysit through games and crafts and spending time outside. I am comfortable helping with meals, homework, bedtime, pets, and light housekeeping. I believe in building trust with families through clear communication, reliability, and kindness. I want to be someone both parents and kids can count on.
