I am a retired school administrative assistant. Over many years, I have worked with children of all ages in the school system and caring for them in my home childcare business. I keep the children busy with hands-on learning, singing, dancing, age-appropriate books, DVD's and videos along with arts and crafts. I have also worked many years as a care-giver/CNA in private homes and in nursing home facilities. I am First Aid/CPR certified for infants, children and adults. Also, being a former residential cleaning business owner, I have many years of experience in cleaning vacant and occupied properties and doing trash-outs.

As a previous veterinary technician, I am skilled in handling "difficult" animals and I animals with medical needs. As a current employee at the Zoo, I am also skilled in caring for "cold-blooded" companions (non venomous).
