Hello! My name is Madison, but I prefer to go by Madi! Three years ago, I had the opportunity to join a preschool program offered through my high school, and that experience sparked my interest in working with children and pursuing the childcare field. Since then, I’ve continued seeking out opportunities to work with children and families in a variety of settings, allowing me to gain experience with different personalities, ages, routines, and family needs. I’ve had experience as a gymnastics coach working with children as young as 18 months through 6 years old. Through coaching, I’ve learned the importance of patience, communication, encouragement, and creating a safe and fun environment where children can learn and feel comfortable. I’m also a mom to my own 13-month-old son, which has given me an entirely different perspective on childcare and the trust that comes with having someone care for your child. In addition to my coaching and parenting experience, I’ve had the opportunity to babysit for three different families, giving me hands-on experience caring for children outside of my own family and adapting to each family’s individual routines and expectations. I genuinely enjoy being around children and watching them learn, grow, and discover new things. My goal as a babysitter is to make sure every child feels safe, comfortable, heard, and cared for while their parents are away. I understand how important it is for parents to feel confident and comfortable with the person they’re leaving their children with, and I strive to build that trust through communication, responsibility, and dependable care.
