Lover of Christ. I put Him first in everything I do. Although i have a bachelors degree in General Management, I have been working with children for the past 10yrs now and it has been an amazing experience. I have worked with kids with ages ranging from 3weeks - 13years old. I got them ready for school, prepared their lunch,we played and learned together. There are times when I found myself waking up in the middle of the night to feed sweet toodlers and stay up with them till they fall asleep. I love babysitting because kids bring me so much joy. Its crazy how we can learn so many things from them. They brighten your day. Due to the fact that I also speak French, I never hesitate to teach a word or two to the sweet pies that i babysit.

Hi! My name is Ariel and I'm currently a senior at UH. I'm a Psychology major and Biology minor and an aspiring doctor. I started babysitting when I was about 15 as part of an after-school program and then at my local Church every week. I have mostly worked with children 1-5 years old but I love kids of all ages. I have experience tutoring kids from 4th grade to college and I can help your school age children with science and math homework and maybe even teach them French if that's something you're into. I enjoy doing crafts, cooking, singing and dancing and hopefully I can be a good fit for your family.

Alyza Pasadena
$22 per hour for 1 child

Hello there!! My names Alyza and I am excited to help busy parents and their adorable children! I have a strong background in childcare and a natural passion for caring for kids. Not only do I have professional experience as an RBT, working with children on the autism spectrum and supporting their growth, but I’m also a mom myself, which gives me a deep understanding of the patience, love, and responsibility that comes with looking after little ones. Along with childcare, I’m happy to provide support around the home and with pets. As a dog mom to three big pups, I’m very comfortable handling animals and making sure they’re well cared for too. My experience combines professional training, personal parenting, and a genuine love for children and families, which makes me a reliable and compassionate caretaker you can count on.

Jazlynn Houston
$35 per hour for 1 child

Hi! My name is Jazlynn, and I’m a huge animal lover. I love working with animals because they remind me of children—you get to protect them, teach them, care for them, and help them grow. It warms my heart to know I can give a pet the best experience possible in their lifetime. I’ve been working with animals since I was about eight years old. My parents were dog breeders, so dogs are my specialty, but I’ve also cared for nearly every type of pet imaginable. Growing up around animals gave me hands-on experience and taught me how to understand their needs, behaviors, and how to make them feel safe and happy. I've also had experience working in an animal hospital for 2 years further helping my experience alongside professionals and exotics. Availability: I work full-time at a veterinary clinic Monday–Wednesday 7/8 AM–6 PM and Friday 8 AM–5 PM. I am available for pet care services before or after my work hours, as well as all day on Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday. Services include anything from dog walking, drop-ins, daycare, boarding, and house sitting. I have veterinary experience, including administering medications and caring for anxious or special-needs pets.

"When we hired Amani, we felt like we hit the jackpot. We were very lucky to find her on UrbanSitter at the beginning of school year. She was picking up kids from school, taking them to afternoon activities, helping them with assignments. She prepped food for them, helped organize their closets and keep their spaces neat and orderly. We would hire her again in a heartbeat."
