Find an after school nanny in Iredell, TX

Hi! I’m a 23 year old who is a very sweet and patient person with children. I have a lot of personal experience in level 3 semi-verbal autistic/adhd children from toddler to 10 years old, including non-verbal children as well. I’m accepting of LGBTQ+ families and bi-racial families! 💖 I have experience in watching most age groups up to 13. Hardly anything grosses me out, and have worked in a medical setting as well. I have worked as a CNA in a nursing home with behavioral issues for about 3 years, and 4+ years in housekeeping and kitchen work in a nursing home. I often would help watch my co-workers kids as well when needed. As a CNA I was responsible for keeping residents safe, and there needs were met. This included feeding, bathing, restroom assistance and brief changing, transferring, and redirecting any confused residents including preventing elopement. I’m quite an organized person and great at multitasking. I have been described by many of my fellow friends and co-workers as kind, bubbly, and easily approachable. I have a great balance of child-like energy and enthusiasm, but also know how to be serious and keep boundaries maintained when need be. Most of the activities I help keep children entertained and help bond with are; drawing, play Pretend, Barbie’s/doll play, Toca Boca and other good educational/mental working games if tablet time is allowed. The only thing I cannot do is lift more than a small child (or 50lbs), since I personally have a permanent restriction from a back surgery I had about a year ago.
