Hi there! My name is Arby. I've been in Austin for about 5 years now and have become pretty established with the area. I currently work 2-3 days caring for a 2 year old and will be an after school teacher for Compuchild starting in September. Outside of childcare, I’m in school working on pursuing urban planning at Texas State University and doing creative work on the side. I began my experience with children at my church at around 13 years old, all the way up to being assistant manager of the after school program of the school I worked at, and nannying. I have experience caring for children outside of home. I also have experience caring for children while parents are travelling and being a travel caregiver. I have housesitting/petsitting experience as well. As a big art lover, I enjoy engaging children in arts & crafts and finding ways to stimulate their creativity. I enjoy imaginary play as well! I am a new empty nester, and really miss children a great deal and the fun that comes with being around them. As a mom myself, I am comfortable with all of the stages of a child's life.
