Killeen
$20 per hour for 1 child
Booked by 1 family in Salado, TX

Hello! My name is Joyce! I have 4 years of volunteer experience in the children's ministry at church, of caring for infants through 13 years old. Additionally, I have experience as a foster care support sitter. I am open to pet sitting, small sized dogs and cats, as well as light housekeeping and senior care. I have a reliable vehicle, and am a non-smoker. My schedule is flexible. I would prefer something part time/occassional. Please feel free to reach out and we can discuss. I enjoy reading, traveling and learning new things! I am currently taking up sewing, and learning Spanish! I believe a child's gifts should be strengthened. I love to implement new activities, such as puzzles, reading books, arts & crafts, board games, cooking etc. Playing and learning are crucial for kids! I can pick up/drop off, take to the park etc. For seniors, I am willing to run errands, drop off to appointments, light housecleaning (dishes, vacuum, laundry).

If I can give Joy six stars, I definitely would. She is extremely punctual and a great communicator. My kids instantly felt comfortable around her. I’m a stay at home mom and don’t really like people I don’t know watching my children, but starting with the interview me and my husband both felt very confident that she would do an amazing job. I love how she plays pretend when my children are being a little difficult and does activities with them. 100% recommend her.

"When we hired Amani, we felt like we hit the jackpot. We were very lucky to find her on UrbanSitter at the beginning of school year. She was picking up kids from school, taking them to afternoon activities, helping them with assignments. She prepped food for them, helped organize their closets and keep their spaces neat and orderly. We would hire her again in a heartbeat."
