Hello, I’m Ms. Danae! (Duh-nay) I’ve always had a passion for working with children and supporting their growth in a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment. I attended Howard University, where I studied English and Psychology, and later pursued graduate studies in Child Development at Georgetown University with a focus on early childhood development. My educational background, combined with my experience as a mother to a wonderful 6-year-old son, has given me a deep appreciation for how important the early years are in shaping confidence, curiosity, and emotional well-being. I currently own and operate my own Event Management company, which allows me to work from home and maintain a flexible schedule. This summer, my son is spending time with his dad for two months, giving me even greater availability to support families with their childcare needs. I believe children thrive when they're met with patience, encouragement, consistency, and plenty of opportunities to learn through play and exploration. Whether it's helping with homework, planning fun activities, travel, or simply being a dependable and caring presence, I strive to create an environment where children feel safe, valued, and excited to learn.
