Hello Parents. & Thank You For Taking Time To Look At My Page. I’m A Mother Of Two Children & The Second Oldest Of Nine Siblings. I’ve Been Dealing With Children My Whole Life. My First Job Was As An Assistant In A Daycare Which I Did For About Five Years. Then After That I Was A Party Planner That I Did For Two Years. Where My Main Focus Was Pretty Much Set Up An Area & Activities For The Children. Ensuring Safety & Fun Was A Top Priority. But When I Helped In Daycare Safety, Fun, & Learning Were Our Key Points. I’m Well Versed In All Ages Of Children I Just Personally Prefer Working With Infants & Toddlers. As I Know Finding Care For Them Can Be The Hardest & I Truly Want To Help. I Have No Problems With Any Basic Need A Child Will Have. I’ve Also Worked With Special Needs Children & Have Experience There Too. I Hope To Make A Lasting Impact & Connection With You & Your Child(ren). As I Believe It Takes A Village & I’d Love To Become A Dependable Member Of Your Community.

Emiya Hampton
$16 per hour for 1 child

Hi! My name is Emiya, I’m 24 years old and a proud mom to a sweet 3-year-old. I’ve been caring for children for over 10 years, starting with babysitting for family and close friends when I was a teen. That experience grew into a real passion for nurturing and supporting young kids as they learn and grow. Being a mom has deepened my understanding of patience, structure, and the importance of creating a safe, loving environment. I’m comfortable caring for infants, toddlers, and school-aged children, and I enjoy planning fun indoor and outdoor activities that encourage imagination and learning. What matters most to me as a nanny is building trust with both the children and their parents. I’m dependable, attentive, and truly love being a part of a child’s development. I’d love the chance to bring my experience and care to your family!

Shaunte Newport News
$15 per hour for 1 child

Hello, I'm Shaunte 🍓I am 22 years old! Recently moved back to the 757 area after being away in Iowa state for college, whew! I have cared for children all of my life from the day I understood how to make a bottle my first start tending to the needs of my two younger siblings, being a middle child. I have never had paid experience up until I turned 19 years old and moved to Iowa state where I babysat for a friend of mine who had given birth not long ago in between finding work; I have 6 months paid experience. Newborns and children up to the ages of 8 are the age range of experience I have; From the dirty messes of burping and changing diapers to the stress-inducing tasks of homework help and prepping meals, I have done it all haha! To keep the children engaged, I first follow the set rules made by the parent(s) whether that be no technology or no messy fun (paint, arts and crafts, etc). I am personally an artsy person by nature, dabbling in sketch work, painting, poetry and with a profound understand of literature, I look forward to slaying dragons in the day and reading bedtime stories at downtime, sometimes made up by my imagination to tailor to the child's likes and loves. Also, cleaning is a total de-stressor for me. If comfortable, I offer cleaning with products instructed for use by the parent(s) and laundry. Running errands such as grocery shopping or pick up/drop off, I am able to assist with as well. I am at your disposable and flexible with my help. I have experience in pet care, only dogs and cats, as I was raised with a parent who fostered a many different breeds of dogs (Chihuahuas, Golden Retrievers, Labs, Pit Bulls, etc.) in my childhood and I have two fur babies of my own, Asher and Ella, who are American Curl/Siamese mixes, and my lovely boyfriend has five cats of his own shared between his lovely family that I tend to daily, so I am open to cleaning litter, scrubbing down the boxes as well as dog cages/crates, typical cleanup assisted by walking and feeding as fur parents see fit; simple grooming like brushing included. I am purposeful when it comes to following a time schedule and completing tasks before the end of day so the next sitting experience is ready for a fresh start! Also, I dabble with Senior Care as well as I tended to my late great-grandmother who passed of cancer in 2020; I lived with her and assisted with bath time, routine pill taking, massages for pain, etc.

"When we hired Amani, we felt like we hit the jackpot. We were very lucky to find her on UrbanSitter at the beginning of school year. She was picking up kids from school, taking them to afternoon activities, helping them with assignments. She prepped food for them, helped organize their closets and keep their spaces neat and orderly. We would hire her again in a heartbeat."
