I’m a dedicated first responder near Portland, Oregon. I have experience in being a certified Police Officer and a volunteer certified Firefighter while pursuing my bachelor’s degree at Chemeketa College. I’m certified in Adult/Child/Infant CPR, AED, EMR, and BLS and have a valid food handlers card. You will appreciate my calm, trustworthy, and caring nature, paired with an upbeat, outgoing personality that helps kids feel safe, engaged, and having fun! I have 6 years of experience caring for children from infancy through early adolescence, including ages 0–11 months, 1–3 years, 4–5 years, and 6–11 years. I’m comfortable supporting daily routines, preparing meals, helping with crafts, and assisting with travel or carpooling. I also offer swimming, walk and park supervision and enjoy creating a safe, fun, and structured environment for kids of all ages. In addition to my public safety background, I also provide household cleaning and organization services. Whether it’s maintaining a tidy home, assisting with laundry, disinfecting surfaces, or helping with daily household tasks, I take pride in creating a clean, comfortable environment for families. I have over 25 years caregiving experience and a Masters in Social Work. I have cared for and/or worked with people of all ages including in day cares, schools, in homes and in foster care, hospitals, in the community. I have experience with hospice care as a Social Worker, not an RN. My career has been focused on working with folks having mental health and/or behavioral issues, those needing psychiatric care, developmental, and/or medical care and case management. I have an active license in CPR, First Aid, and CPI. I’ve owned and cared for pets my entire life. Currently, I care for, and deeply love, an Australian Cattle Dog named Fennel. I recently lost my job and am looking for work. I am open to various offers and opportunities. My hourly rate starts at $25 an hour, cost depends on the need and logistics.
