I’ve been caring for children and families for most of my life, starting with babysitting at the age of 14. Over the years, that early experience grew into a long-term nanny position where I supported one family for six years, building strong relationships and becoming a trusted part of their daily lives. My approach is centered on creating a safe, engaging, and supportive environment where children can feel comfortable, have fun, and thrive. In addition to childcare, I spent four years as a personal assistant to a woman with advanced multiple sclerosis, which strengthened my patience, compassion, and ability to provide attentive, individualized care. I also have over 15 years of experience in pet sitting and animal care, and I’m very comfortable caring for both children and animals in a household setting. I’m dependable, warm, and highly attentive to the needs of those I care for, and I take pride in being someone families can trust and rely on.

Caring for others has always been a constant in my life. I grew up babysitting and became involved in mentor programs starting at age 14, which set the foundation for my love of working with children, families, and people of all ages. I have extensive experience with older children and teens through my role as a mentor with Rainier Athletes, where I support high school students with goal-setting, confidence-building, emotional regulation, and navigating everyday challenges. I’m especially comfortable building trust with older kids and being a steady, positive role model. In college, I worked internationally as an au pair in Spain, teaching English and supporting a local family, and later became a live-in nanny in London for a one- and three-year-old. These roles gave me hands-on experience with early childhood routines, developmental milestones, structure, and patience—while also teaching me adaptability, communication, and cultural sensitivity. I also have experience with seniors and caregiving environments. My mother is a hospice caregiver, so I grew up around senior care and understand the importance of compassion, dignity, and attentiveness when supporting older adults. In addition, I am extremely comfortable with pets and home care. I’m a former member of TrustedHousesitters and have traveled internationally caring for homes and animals, managing everything from daily routines and medications to long-term stays. Animals are a joy for me, and I treat every home and pet as if they were my own. I have been caring for children most of my life. I was a nanny while in high school and have a lot of nieces and nephews that I have cared for including overnight stays. I have three dogs of my own and have fostered 5 cats within the last two years. I have cared for seniors, including an elderly woman with Alzheimer's disease. I am an outgoing person who enjoys getting to know people and animals. I like to be helpful and am willing to do household chores and outside tasks that need to be taken care of. Hello! I currently have a part time job and I’m looking for some extra jobs. I’ve been working with kids for 3 years now. I worked as a volunteer for a kindergarten class for almost a year, and I took care of 2 boys for 2 years and occasionally babysitting for other families. I have a lot of experience with children in different ages and feel confident about my work.I have a flexible schedule and I’ll try my best to make this work!
