I’m a parent of 1, my daughter is now an adult. I retired from the Army after 20yrs in 2016. I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and have worked(played) in their nursery for over a year in my church. I have also taught in Sunday school 3-5yr olds and 12-15 yr olds. I love babysitting kids because I only had 1 and wanted more. I wouldn't have been able to continue in my career or make it to retirement if it wasn't for the babysitters & family I had for my daughter. I’ve lived in multiple states and 2 other countries as well as visited 19 countries for work. I love “working” with kids because they are nonjudgmental, carefree and a great reminder to slow down and enjoy simple things in life. I'm not looking to start a new career, I believe kids can make life fun and happier than being in a boring corporate office or answering to a boss.

I have over 30 years of childcare experience both privately and professionally. I am a homeschool parent to 4 young children, including 3 teenagers. While I was in college to obtain a bachelor's in education, I worked as both a nanny and in a daycare for the local school district. I believe that children are full humans deserving of the same respect we would give any adult. I prefer gentle parenting and guidance in lieu of punishment. As a mom, I am well versed with the complex inner workings of running a household. I cook, clean, and everything else for my own family. As for pets, I am a proud kitty mama and have assisted in raising over 50 neonatal kittens as a foster volunteer.
