Hello I'm Beth! I'm a current CSUMB sophomore who has worked with kids professionally for the past 4 years and have taken care of my siblings since I was 13. I am offering care for toddlers, kids, pets, and homes. For the summers of 2022 to 2024 I was a summer camp counselor for ages 6-10 and this most recent summer I was the site lead for the camp. Some of my responsibilities were to choose and lead crafts and games for groups of up to 30 kids, manage day to day activities like lunch, swimming, and reading time, and communicate with parents about any happenings in their kid's day. I have a drivers license and also have a lot of experience cleaning and organizing. I can make simple meals, run errands, lead many different games, and organize crafts. One way I like to promote learning with children is to disguise it as something fun, using competition or mysteries to entice them.

Hello Parents:) Certified Clinical Medical Assistant. I have tons of experience! 27+ years. I’ve worked in pediatric clinic, licensed daycare, teacher’s assistant, kids dance instructor. I’m a student in the health field, radiology is my goal. I am the 2nd to oldest out of 5 siblings. I started to babysit at a very young age. I flourished when I started to work with kids and it’s showed me to be patient, mature, energetic, engaging and to be tolerant. I’ve been described as very responsible, patient, quick on my feet!, dependable, welcoming & kind. I honestly enjoy and value working with children. Im also a proud community outreach lead in my outreach page on FB which brings community info to kids and their parents. I also help teach dance to help kiddos keep busy and out of the streets. I help guide them in other afterschool programs, activities like art, reading, instruments, paint, language. I give them info to further their education and I even chat with parents if they need any guidance. No child is “too challenging”. Most are just misunderstood and just need a chance to be themselves. I worked for my local Health Department Clinics and Hospital for 22+ yrs. 27+yrs in child care, 10+yrs in a class room setting. Early Childhood Development credits! I feel very comfortable responding to any medical emergency, medication administration, any disability, any level of health conditions, including behavioral. I have been a Travel Nanny and loved every minute of it. The one-on-one attention gave me a different perspective on how to support parents. I am a firm believer in Montessori Method. I like to be hands on, nature is my buddy, active, arts & crafts, music!, books, baking, help with homework/projects, biking/walking, any educational play is fun. Anything that helps inspire curiosity to discover & learn. I don’t shy away from bathing, forts, feedings, cleaning, mud puddles:), bed time stories, movies and of course a great Snuggle when needed. Parenting styles may diff. so I respect every parents wishes & rules. Parents are trusting me with their most valuable treasure so I strive to be my best. I’ve always enjoyed working with children because they are kind, fun and so intelligent. It takes a special person with special gifts to work with children.
