I love Children!!! I have extensive experience with all ages from newborn infants, babies, toddlers young children through junior high age in high school. I am experienced watching groups of kids, i’ve watched up to 8 if their ages are spread out, and they play well together, some same age - wedding and events! I raised two wonderful humans to adulthood, and have been teaching high school English for 15 years while earning numerous awards and commendations. I also come trained as a first responder through 15 years of experience with Search and Rescue which includes certification as EMR (including First Aid, CPR, and AED for infants through adults) as well as numerous awards and commendations. I volunteered for 10 years in the youth program at my church (Calvary Chapel, Reno/Sparks), worked as the lead teacher of the school-age summer program at Little Knights and Maidens, led the youth program at my local library for many years, and led my own children through myriad sports and activities (soccer, dance, 4H, Scouts, etc). As my own children are recently off to college, I find myself with more time on my hands, and I would love to serve my community while making some extra tuition money for my own kids. Tutoring of course can be included in the services listed.

I love kids! I really enjoy spending time with kids, taking care of them, attending to their needs, having fun with them mainly, as kids can really teach us so much about ourselves. I have a mechanical engineering degree from CU Boulder, and am currently a kid's ski instructor at Alpine Meadows. I also am CPR certified, have my EMT license, 200 hour yoga teaching certification, and was an ocean lifeguard for five years. I am used to being responsible for other people, adults or kids or dogs, and will make sure your kids have fun.

Hi! My name is Lucía, I am 26 years old and I consider myself a patient, responsible, and committed person in everything I do. I study Psychology and have taken courses related to child development and behavior, which allows me to better understand children’s emotions and needs according to their age. In the future, I would love to work in therapy with children, which is why learning from them is very important to me. I also love pets, I have a dog myself who’s very anxious so I know how to deal with pers that are a little more shy or don’t trust enough at first.
