I am currently working in an office with 14 others. It was a good job to get me through school but I am looking to leave this month and am looking for a wonderful job with a wonderful kid or a couple of kids. I’ve been caring for children since I was 12, alongside school and other jobs. As the oldest of three, I’ve always had a natural sense of responsibility and loved being around little ones. I started babysitting regularly when my younger sister was born, caring for her and another baby of the same age at the same time for several years. I also cared for a one-year-old for about four years on and off, along with babysitting for several other families. I’m patient, loving, calm, and dependable, while also being comfortable setting boundaries when needed. I’ve cared for energetic, adventurous, and strong-willed children and enjoy finding activities that keep them engaged without relying heavily on screen time. I especially enjoy cooking and baking with kids, going on walks, swimming, painting, drawing, and spending time outdoors. I’m also confident with bedtime routines and helping children settle into a consistent schedule, while understanding that some children need time to feel comfortable with a new caregiver. Most importantly, I genuinely enjoy being a child’s buddy and creating a safe, happy environment where they can have fun, explore, and feel cared for.
