Nice to meet you! I’m Kate, a 37 year old career nanny who moved from Chicago to LA in 2021 for a jet-setting/bi-coastal, travel heavy nanny position, and once the position ended, I decided to stay out here permanently. I live in Orange County with my girlfriend, and work M-Th, 7a-7p, in Studio City. My previous position was Jan ‘23- Nov ‘24. My background has always been in early childhood, and majored in early childhood education in college. I have years of experience with all age ranges and backgrounds: from kids who thrive in group settings to kids that do best with individualized, 1:1 care to kids who are neurodivergent. My first and top priority is the safety and wellbeing. Second is play, exploration, imagination, creativity, and seeing kids explore based on what they are into and things they find interesting. Third is, in my day-to-day, I take a child-centered approach. Including, but not limited to: time outside, walks, going to playgrounds, and finding activities within the home that the kids enjoy. My experience includes: working as a in-home support worker with neurodivergent kids, have worked at 3 early childhood centers (both as an assistant teacher and lead teacher); and all my experience has been from newborn to school age. In my free time: I love checking out new restaurants, adventuring the outdoors with my girlfriend, finding new trails to hike on AllTrails, the beach, and weekend trips

If I sit for your family, I'd greatly appreciate it if you'd rate me on my services to you. Hi! I’m a caring and dependable childcare provider with over 15 years of experience working with children from infancy through early elementary age. I’m currently studying Child Development and work on call as a substitute Teacher Assistant with children ages 0–5. I have a strong background in infant and toddler care and am comfortable with all parts of daily routines, including feedings, naps, diapering, potty training, and bedtime. I’ve cared for up to four children at once and enjoy supporting sibling relationships in a calm, positive way. I believe children thrive when they feel safe, understood, and supported. I aim to create a fun, nurturing environment while also following family routines and expectations closely. I’m reliable, patient, and communicative, and I love helping parents feel confident and at ease while they’re away.

Hi! I am an Event Planner, Personal Assistant, House Manager and Lifestyle Manager. I have extensive food, wine, and hospitality experience and love to cook and create memorable dinners and party experiences. I have also been a Placement Consultant for domestic roles and work with families to find the best fit for nannies, housekeepers, chefs, and assistants. If you’d like to connect, please reach out.

Angela is great! Super trustworthy, responsive, flexible and really good with my cat, always stays with him for a while and he likes her so much. Follows instructions perfectly, even if a bit more complicated than usual as my Ziggy is a senior cat

Hi! I am 28 years old, have an AA in American Sign Language/Interpreter Training and am a behavior technician. I speak fluent English and Spanish and am still learning to fully communicate in ASL. I get along with kids, due to the many in my family, and love to get creative and fun with them. I get my experience from babysitting children of family and friends, and have cared for kids of all ages, especially since starting on urbansitter. I like dancing, karaoke, drawing, painting, and so much more. I accept cash and zelle, but will accept getting paid through the app if you prefer, just let me know. I am very communicative with parents and guardians and send constant updates. For pet sitting, the rate is negotiable. I love all animals! I have dogs and a turtle of my own, as well as provide care for other pets of family and friends. I volunteered at an animal hospital for a year and gained some experience with sick and critical patients, as well as giving medications. I also gained experience from my own dogs with paralysis, blindness, ear infections, and more. I love babysitting! Let me know if there's anything else you want to know about me and I will get back to you ASAP.

Five stars would definitely recommend to any family looking for someone with a wonderful approach to both neurotypical and neurodivergent children, very reliable, communicative, and professional. Vanessa was great with our five year- old & my daughter felt immediately comfortable with her, & my seven-year-old nonverbal son did just fine all night long. Vanessa is very experienced in handling children on the spectrum and taking the patience, understanding and care, which is something I look for in every Babysitter I hire . They all did so well together, I really look for someone who has experience with neurodivergent children and Vanessa was five stars all the way I really appreciate how she engaged she was with my babies. We will definitely be having Vanessa over again.
