Hello! I am currently a special education extensive needs Para Educator in a middle school SPED classroom with the Sacramento County of Education (SCOE). I have 5 years experience as a lead preschool teacher. I worked as a French immersion preschool teacher at the International School of San Francisco, where I work with kids between 4-5 years old. This is a Prek-12th French immersion IB school. I have experience as a French immersion preschool teacher at Au Beau Séjour French Preschool in Oakland, working with ages 3-4. I have experience as a Preschool Teacher at Acorn to Oak in Sacramento, working with ages 3-5. This school followed Montessori, Reggio Emilia and Waldorf philosophies. I have nanny / babysitting experience with ages 6mo - 10 (I have experience babysitting 1 - 4 child families). I grew up with younger twin siblings that I loved helping taking care of. I am CPR and First Aid Certified and have 43.5 Early Childhood Education Units with a certificate in Early Childhood Education. I have a Bachelor of Fine Art and am passionate about art and creativity, which I find very valuable when working with kids. I love nature (I have chickens, a turkey and rabbits at home). My name is Juliana and I am from Argentina. I am 30 years old. As I have studied English as a Second Language I have experience working at primary schools and at kindergarten level. I have experience as a sitter for four years now in Lake Tahoe area. During these years I have taken good care of children from babies newly born to kids 7 years old. I like dynamism, and being creative has helped me to add variety to my everyday routines making kids have fun and enjoy while playing. I am very responsable and I do understand that taking care of children and even infants may be difficult and challenging. Thus, I believe I have the tools and carisma to make things work.

I raised two wonderful humans to adulthood, and have been teaching high school English for 15 years while earning numerous awards and commendations. I also come trained as a first responder through 15 years of experience with Search and Rescue which includes certification as EMR (including First Aid, CPR, and AED for infants through adults) as well as numerous awards and commendations. I volunteered for 10 years in the youth program at my church (Calvary Chapel, Reno/Sparks), worked as the lead teacher of the school-age summer program at Little Knights and Maidens, led the youth program at my local library for many years, and led my own children through myriad sports and activities (soccer, dance, 4H, Scouts, etc). As my own children are recently off to college, I find myself with more time on my hands, and I would love to serve my community while making some extra tuition money for my own kids.
