Hi! My name is Cassandra. I am from Vallejo, CA. I am a college graduate with a B.S. in Molecular Biology and a Minor in Chemistry from Dominican University in San Rafael, CA. I graduated in May 2018 with many honor society achievements and graduation honors. I’m also currently finishing up a B.S. in Nursing! I've had a lot of experience babysitting children of all ages from infancy to preteen and some teenage. I am certified for Basic Life Support for infant/child/adult, which includes CPR/AED. I am also an instructor for both! A little more about me... Currently, I am a high school science teacher (Chemistry, Biomedical Innovations and Medical Interventions). I've played competitive basketball and volleyball as well as the piano all my life. Additionally, to continue my love and passion for sports, I volunteer my time to coaching girls basketball and volleyball. I am the head coach for the JV team and an assistant coach for the Varsity team at a the private high school I teach at. I am also the JV head coach for the volleyball team! I speak a little Italian and I can fully understand Tagalog. I’m hoping to take classes soon to be fluent in Italian again! I look forward to meeting and helping your family!
Hello! Ive been working with children my entire working life. I began teaching swimming lessons to infants through pre-teens, babysitting infants-toddlers, and working as a high school mentor before going to college. I got a degree in Spanish literature and language in WA state (University of Puget Sound) and taught middle and high school in Andorra as a Fulbright fellow (borders Spain and France). After returning to the US, I went to Stanford to get my Masters in Education and worked with students for seven years across the Bay Area. I now work as a preschool/infant Montessori style educator/nanny, mentor, tutor, and educational consultant, in addition to pursuing my art in fusion dance and vocal performance. I love children, believe it is a life mission to help them feel understood and empowered, and have been described as quite the "Mary Poppins" advice, lullabies, and giant bag included :-) **Update: While I am currently looking for part-time and/or tutoring help, I am also available for occasional babysitting on the weekends/week nights!
Hi! I'm a part-time student with a flexible schedule and a genuine love for working with children. I spent several years as a camp counselor working with special needs children through high school and college, which gave me a deep appreciation for patient, attentive, and individualized care. I have a background in engineering which means I'm reliable, detail oriented, and great at problem solving. I also grew up in a Chinese household with Mandarin as my first language, which I'm happy to incorporate naturally into our time together if that's something your family values. I'm calm, warm, and genuinely enjoy engaging with kids through play, creative activities, reading, and exploring. I believe every child deserves to feel seen and supported. I have a pediatric CPR, AED and first aid certification, and am taking child development courses. I’m happy to provide references :)
Pharmacist with a love for kids looking to help out with childcare and babysitting part-time! Worked at Kumon through high school and as a community tutor in college. Love being silly, playing games, building Legos, making arts and crafts or just simply watching a movie with kids! Licensed in CPR/BLS and completed a pediatric rotation during my clinicals. Comfortable with pets.

Hi families! I'm María, an Elementary Teacher from Spain with over 12 years of experience working with children of all ages—from newborns to teens. Over the years, I’ve been a babysitter, camp counselor, activity leader, and spent a wonderful year as an au pair here in California—an experience that made me fall in love with the Bay Area, where I now live! I’m passionate about creating a positive, safe, and fun environment where kids feel happy, supported, and free to be themselves. Whether it’s playing, helping with homework, guiding routines, or simply being a caring presence, I always adapt to each child’s needs and personality. Fluent in both Spanish and English, I love to bring creativity, communication, and even a little language learning into our time together. I'm also happy to help with light housekeeping, meal prep, and anything that makes your family’s day smoother. If you're looking for someone experienced, warm, and genuinely dedicated to kids of all ages, I’d love to meet you!
“Maria was incredibly warm and kind. She stepped in last-minute when our regular caregiver canceled just an hour before and showed up right on time, which we really appreciated. She connected with my toddler right away and they had a great time together. She helped smoothly with our morning routine, including getting our child to preschool. She also supported with transportation and helped carry everything we needed to get him to school, which meant a lot since I’m not allowed to lift anything during my high-risk pregnancy. Maria made me feel completely comfortable having someone new in our home. Her energy is calm and reassuring, and it’s clear she has a lot of experience, both as a mom of three and as a teacher. I would absolutely recommend her, especially since she’s local and reliable.”
