Hello there! My name is Paloma and I have over 25 years of experience working with kids of all ages, from infants to teenagers. I truly love working with all ages in a variety of settings. I worked professionally as an elementary school garden teacher and outdoor educator for many years, and as a nanny for many years as well. I am also the eldest of six siblings, who now have children of their own, so childcare just comes naturally to me. What is most important for me about working with kids is providing a loving space for them to have creative fun and develop a sense of connection. I’m good at everything from imaginative play to homework time to dinner and bed time. I especially love to get outside with kids. Hello! My name is Rebecca, but just Becky's fine :) I earned my Bachelors Degree in Theatre Arts (performance emphasis) from San Francisco State University with honors in 2015 and my master’s degree in clinical psychology from Pepperdine University just this year! I am about to start full time work as an associate marriage and family therapist. I had heard so many great things about Urban Sitter from friends, so I decided to join in on the fun in 2015! I worked for Urban Sitter from 2015 to 2023, everything from occasional to full time. Unfortunately I had to take a medical leave last year—but now I’m healthy, out of school and can’t wait to work with your kids again. It might not be my full time job anymore, but kids are the best reprieve from the stressors of my day job. I have experience with a wide age range, from kids as young as two weeks to as old as eleven years. I've worked with over 100 families by now, so I'm pretty well prepared for what's thrown my way! I'd say the age range I tend to work best with is infant to toddler--but that's not to say I don't enjoy working with kids older. Got a seven year old obsessed with Pokemon? Me too. I'm all for it. Can't wait to meet and hang out with your wonderful kids! Note: Due to ever increasing gas prices and bridge toll, please note that I will usually not travel to SF or across another bridge for a job less than $100 overall. This of course does not include any jobs I may apply to on the job board. There may be outliers to this rule (for example: if I’m already in SF that day), so it never hurts to message me and ask!

Hi, my name is Allison and I am 29 years old. I currently have a full time job at Marin Health Medical Center, so I am babysitting whenever I can. I graduated from Dominican University of California in May of 2019 with a degree in Biology. Before I attended Dominican I went to Terra Linda High School and Mark Day, so I am a Marin local. Aside from my schooling, I like to travel, surf, play soccer, spend time with my family and friends, bake and more. I have been babysitting for several years and I have had experience with children of all ages. Hi there, I’m Kaelyn! After taking a break from UrbanSitter to work with families independently, I’m excited to reconnect with this amazing community. I’ve lived in San Francisco since 2017 and earned my B.S. in Molecular Biology from the University of San Francisco in December 2020. Now, I work full-time as a Program Manager in the biotech industry (specifically the research side of molecular diagnostics) I’ve been babysitting since I was 2011, starting with family friends’ children & gaining experience throughout HS, College, and Post Grad with a wide variety of ages & number of children, experience with 3mo–12 yrs and 1-3 children. As well over the years, I’ve gained extensive childcare experience, including five summers as a camp counselor at Rawhide Ranch, a Western horse camp in San Diego. As a counselor for 5-12 children a week, between children 7-15. There, I assisted with meals, cabin life, teaching classes, and creating a fun, positive environment for campers. In 2019, I worked as an Au Pair in Madrid, caring for two wonderful girls (ages 8 and 11). I loved teaching them English and forming a lasting bond with their family. Childcare has always been a passion of mine. Whether babysitting or tutoring in science and math, I enjoy engaging with kids through games, songs, and creative activities.
