***45+ repeat families as of 8/2026, just not through Urbansittter!!! *** Hello! I'd really love to get to know your family! I'm selectively applying for engagements, so if I've clicked on you, there's something I loved in your write-up! I am recently back to work after taking a two year sabbatical. During that time, I sat for a bit over 100 different families and am asked back about half the time! At this point I am only doing evening/night-time sitting, and depending upon what care you need I will consider doing weekend daytime too. I really enjoy being around kids of all ages. If your kid(s) are of the right age, I love to play games, do puzzles, read, or as I see some of you are up for, taking kids around SF to explore this incredible city! I'd love the opportunity to help your household out by responsibly doing some fun things with your child(ren). Or, if they're too young for these things, I'm very responsible and will ensure your newborn or toddler are well looked after. I babysat when I was a teenager, and was a part-time nanny for a couple of years in college, but in my adult life I play pinch-babysitter to friends or family when they get into a bind. Or when they're going to an all-day wedding they need to plan weeks in advance! As such, I know that emergencies come up and I'd be ideal for last minute bookings with my open schedule! Happy to have a conversation or an online meeting if you want to get to know me before having me to your home. On a personal front, I love to travel! In fact, that's part of why I'm continuing to be on Urbansitter, to help finance my next trip - please help me!!! :) Also I am a puppy lover who doesn't mind cats, so if you're a pet family, all the better! Hope to connect soon!
“Raemi was wonderful and we would love to work with her again! She was very responsive, messaged to confirm the night before, came exactly when she said she would, was thoughtful about asking clarifying questions about care, gave me confidence that she could handle the situation even though our daughter was very upset when I left, and provided me relevant updates during the night.”
2/27/26 UPDATE: Moving forward I ask that parents respect my cancellation fee of 50% of the cost of the previously agreed upon booking when cancelling a booking with less than 24 hours in advance. If the booking was not made with a set hard end time, I ask that you please accept a fee of $50. Hello! My name is Kaia. I believe it takes a village to raise a child. Being raised by a single parent myself, I am passionate about serving families in my community who need extra childcare support. Queer and trans friendly. While I believe *all* family styles deserve proper childcare, households close to a BART station/commuter friendly are more convenient for me right now.
“Kaia was reliable, warm and friendly and very engaging with my 4 year old! I am literally booking her again right now! ”

“Anna has been an incredible caregiver for our family and I recommend her highly. She cares for our two boys, ages 9 and 10, and is warm, dependable, responsible, and genuinely invested in them. I trust her completely driving them to school, sports, activities, and appointments in her own car, and she is excellent at keeping track of busy schedules and making sure everyone gets where they need to be. What I especially appreciate about Anna is that she takes initiative. She helps with meals and snacks, keeps things organized, and notices what needs to be done without needing constant direction. She is also patient and caring with the boys while still being able to manage the energy and independence of school-age kids. Anna has made our family’s day-to-day life significantly easier, and my boys have developed a wonderful relationship with her. She is someone I feel completely comfortable entrusting my children to, and I would absolutely recommend her to another family.”
