Hello! My name is Katy . I have my Bachelors of Arts Degree in Sociology and a Minor in Child Development! I have always had love and patience for children growing up as I was raised in a big family! I chose to work with children as my career path because I know it is what I am passionate about. I have been working for the city as a Recreational Assistant for about 6 years now which includes caring for children 5-15 years old. I have worked for a summer camps every summer which allowed me to care for large groups of children. My responsibilities consist of tutoring, crafts and sports! I have been trained on keeping kids busy by creating fun activities and playing actively with them through recreational fun! While of course keeping them safe at all times. I have been a soccer coach for 5 and 6 year olds for about 4 years now. I have also been a youth fitness coach for girls 5-12 years old. I have worked with my mom in housekeeping and have experience cleaning and organizing! I also knowing how to cook various meals and enjoy doing it! I am also an animal lover 🐾 I have 2 Huskies and one terrier who I care for as well. I have a strong worth ethic and take my jobs seriously!

Hi, my name is Chelsea. I am 20 years old and a current college student at CSULB. Originally, I am from Riverside, where I get most of my babysitting experience. Professionally I worked with several companies that provide childcare to several different types of children, including those with learning and physical disabilities. I currently work with the YMCA at an elementary school. In this role, I am responsible for 20 students, making sure they complete their homework and providing snacks/supper and enrichment lessons to further their education. Education is very important to me as someone working with kids. Outside of childcare, I do have experience with small dogs and cats and have no problem providing household services. Instead, I will tell a child, "That's not something we put in our mouth because it's not food. We only put food and medicine in our mouth." In that way, the child is able to make the connection in its brain in a healthy and productive manner instead of bringing fear and rejection to the child. I love cats and dogs.
