Hello families! During the day, I am a Substitute Teacher for K-12 charter schools. In addition, I am a Tutor specializing in ESL, ELA and Reading Comprehention. I have a Master's degree in Teaching English as a Foreign Language and I've served in the Peace Corps as a TEFL Teacher and Trainer (Ukraine, 2[removed], and Uzbekistan 2002-2005. ) I am a very caring, fun and creative caregiver who thinks outside of the box! I like to create fun activities to keep the kids busy and engaged. Not a big fan of Tech for play or entertainment! I prefer Reading books/Storytelling, Arts & Crafts, Games, Outdoor Play, Music & Movement for the little ones (play a little bit of guitar), and Cooking. Hi, my name is Karlee I am currently a junior in college at Harvard University where I study Psychology and Government and also am on the Women’s Basketball team. I grew up in a large household of 6 kids, where I grew up taking care of younger siblings and cousins. I currently have 7 nieces and nephews who I have experience taking care of, ages ranging from 1-8. While also having experience babysitting a 10-12 year old for two years! I have been an official dog sitter for nearly 3 years and love watching kids and pets.
