Tessa 1 review
Los Angeles
$28 per hour for 1 child

Responsible Mid-City sitter available for babysitting, date nights, and part-time care. I have several years of experience caring for infants, toddlers, and young children, and I'm very comfortable with routines like meals, naps, playtime, and bedtime. Parents appreciate that I'm calm, reliable, and able to step into a family's routine quickly. I've worked both in full-time nanny roles and in occasional babysitting positions. My experience includes: • infant care and full-day coverage • toddler and preschool care • playtime, activities, and outdoor walks • meal and snack preparation • naps and bedtime routines • light kitchen and household tidying • homework help for older children • support with school pickup and activities I'm patient, attentive, and genuinely enjoy engaging with kids through books, play, and simple activities. I aim to create a calm, positive environment while making sure children feel comfortable and safe.

Tessa has been absolutely fantastic, and we’ve loved working with her. Although she’s new to UrbanSitter, she was happy to provide references, which we really appreciated. From the start, she was communicative, punctual, and professional leading up to each appointment. While caring for our son, she carefully listened to and followed our schedule and preferences around feeding, sleeping, and routines. She was incredibly attentive and engaging with him, and he clearly adored her. We’ve now worked with Tessa a few times and will absolutely continue to hire her in the future. Highly recommend!

Zoe Los Angeles
$25 per hour for 1 child

My name is Zoe, and I’m a college Junior. When I’m not in class, I work as a preschool teaching assistant near my home, with experience supporting kids ages 2 and up. I’m comfortable with diaper changes, potty training, and keeping little ones entertained and engaged. I also have plenty of experience with pets. I have a senior pup (11 years young) and grew up with a cat, so I’m familiar with caring for both cats and dogs. Additionally, I can cook, clean, and organize, and I have a valid driver’s license, making me a reliable and versatile caregiver.

Michelle 1 review
Manhattan Beach
$25 per hour for 1 child

I have a lot of valuable experience, both with raising 3 children, teaching preschool, babysitting, and helping my 104 year old grandma with technology!

Michelle (or Mimi as my toddler calls her) is the best. She’s been watching my very active son once a week for over a year, and I cannot emphasize how helpful she is. She’s patient, she focuses all of her attention on him and she makes playing fun. My son is absolutely exhausted after Michelle’s visits. He wakes up some mornings asking to “play date with Mimi” or will sing songs that she has taught him. Now that I have an infant too, she watches both boys with ease. Caretaking is her speciality. She’s very gentle and kind. Michelle is punctual, respectful and dependable. Whenever she comes over, I know I don’t have to worry about anything, she’s got in under control. I can go to work or run errands without hesitation.

Roxanna 1 review
Los Angeles
$30 per hour for 1 child

Hello! I am a mother of two children of my own, and have been caring for children for over 30 years. I have worked with different families over those years in which I’ve started with babies until they’re in high school. I love to do fun activities, museums, sports games with the children. I love to listen to music and read books.

Roxanna has worked with my family for over 10 years on and off. She was our full time nanny for my son from 6 months to 10yo. Roxanna is exceptional and a seasoned nanny. When we were new to LA, she gave me so much information and took the kids to all the best activities and places. She evolved with our family as the kids grew. She is absolutely wonderful with babies but equally great with school aged kids. She shuttled them to activities, feed them, prepped for school and homework. She was such an incredible asset to the family. She also is genuinely such a positive and kind spirit. She loves children and is truly a professional in childcare. Her next family will be lucky to have her.
