Hello parents! I am a dedicated and caring part-time nanny/babysitter in NELA & mom of 3 with 18 years of experience in child care. With my youngest being autistic I have learned so much when it comes to children with challenges and the importance of advocacy. I’m passionate about creating a nurturing and fun environment where children can thrive, learn, and grow. I have experience working with children of various ages, from infants to toddlers and school-age kids. I’m skilled in creating age-appropriate activities, and offering emotional support to children and families. I know first hand how challenging things can be. My goal is to provide peace of mind to parents while offering a safe and enjoyable experience for the little ones in my care. I really enjoy engaging kids in activities that spark their creativity and curiosity. Some of my favorites include arts and crafts, playing outdoor games, reading fun books, baking together, singing and dancing! It's great to see their imaginations come to life! If you’re looking for someone who is reliable, trustworthy, and genuinely loves working with kids. Wether you need an extra pair of hands to sip on hot some coffee, help with laundry, events, organizing, stare at a wall with no interruptions I’m always happy to help in any way I can. I would love to connect and discuss how I can be of help to your family!
Hi! My name is Sasha, and I’m based in Silver Lake. I have years of experience working with children through babysitting, teaching, and summer camps, and I genuinely love spending time with kids and entering their world creatively and energetically. I started babysitting in high school and college, including caring for my neighbor’s daughter through late nights, school pickups/drop-offs, and soccer practices. I also regularly babysat two boys, ages 4 and 5, where we spent most of our time doing arts and crafts, building things, playing imaginative games, reading before bed, and staying active rather than relying on screen time. I also worked as an art teacher for children ages 4–14 and taught summer camps as well. During weekly classes, I often independently managed two groups of 10–12 kids at a time, balancing creativity, structure, and making sure every child felt included and engaged. A little more about me personally, I studied English Literature in college and completed all of the coursework for my Master’s degree before ultimately deciding to move to Los Angeles to pursue music full time. I’m now a musician and creative person at heart, and I think that background has made me especially patient, imaginative, and communicative with kids. I really value creativity, curiosity, and making children feel understood and encouraged. I’m also a native Spanish speaker, very active, and love cooking, art, music, reading, and spending time outdoors. I’d be happy to help with meal prep, homework, creative activities, bedtime routines, or simply creating a fun and calm environment for your child. I’m dependable, warm, playful, and genuinely enjoy building trust with both kids and parents.
I am a caring, dependable, and energetic caregiver with a strong passion for working with children of all ages. I have over 7+ years of experience. My experience caring for kids has taught me the importance of patience, creativity, and consistency in creating a safe and nurturing environment where children can thrive. I enjoy engaging with kids through play, learning activities, and routines that encourage growth, independence, and confidence. I bring excellent communication and problem-solving skills, allowing me to connect easily with both children and parents. Whether helping with homework, preparing healthy meals, organizing fun activities, or maintaining structure throughout the day, I approach every task with enthusiasm and attention to detail. In addition to my child care experience, I’ve also provided support to seniors, pets, and households—skills that have strengthened my ability to multitask, stay organized, and adapt to different needs and personalities. My compassionate nature and dependable work ethic make me someone families can trust to care for their children. I take pride in being reliable, positive, and calm under pressure, always putting the safety and well-being of children first while fostering a warm, loving environment that encourages learning and joy every day.
Hi, I'm Fiona. I'm from the UK but I've been living in the US for 7 years. I’m offering child care and senior care. I have been working with children for over 20 years in many different settings. I've taught music and dance classes to mums with little ones, taught dance in Primary Schools, been a full time nanny to a beautiful baby boy from 3 months until he was 2. I cared for a little girl from the age of 3-5. We loved baking together and going on outside adventures. More recently I was the director of a thriving children's ministry for a church. I was in charge of the welfare, curriculum programming and entertainment of over 150 children between the ages of 0-11 every Sunday. This included a nursery. I was in this role for 5 years. I have an undergraduate degree in Dance, and a Masters in Writing for Children from the University of Winchester, UK. Right now, I work for an organization where I write Bible studies for children who struggle with reading, helping them to engage in creative ways. I've also taught seated dance classes in senior homes across London. I spearheaded and intergenerational project called "Connecting the Generations", bringing little ones and seniors together through music and movement. I love to sing, dance, bake, read stories, and spend time outside. I aim to see those in my care thrive. I always bring approachability, warmth, patience, and fun when I'm looking after kids and seniors.
I have been a high school English teacher for seven years, serving public and private school communities. I received my education in English Literature from Biola University, with specialized study at Oxford University, and attended Humboldt State University for my teaching credentialing program. While most of my teaching experience is with high school students, I have also been a care taker for younger children as well. Really, I just think all kids are pretty goofy and great! And as a teacher, getting to see their personalities come out and alive has been the best part of my job. I look forward to serving your family!
