I have over 30 years of experience as a caregiver to children, pets and the elderly. I have been responsible for multiples, pick-ups, drop-offs, meals, homework help, bathing, bedtime and overnight stays. I am an animal lover so I am more than happy to help with pet sitting and care as well. I also have experience working with special needs children. I was previously an Intensive Behavior Instructional Assistant for the Garden Grove Unified School District for over 8 years. Hello! It’s great to meet you ! I work as a substitute teacher during the school year but am looking for part time jobs during the summer season. I teach Kindergarten through twelfth grade and am very familiar and comfortable with that wide age range! Besides that, I have also worked in other school districts as an after school leader, where I was used to working one on one with students as well as leading large groups of kiddos as well. I have also nannied for a family with two babies, ages 2 1/2 and 9 months until I started working as a permanent substitute. I find kids’ energetic and kind personalities a joy to be around and I overall love working with kids for those reasons! I have a clean driving record and happily offer pickup and drop off from school if needed! I can offer school related assistance including homework help, arts and crafts, light tidying around the household, and anything else that I may be of help in. My priority is always to ensure that this is a great experience for both the family and children, as for me as a caretaker! Hello, It is very nice to find you here. I began my childcare, elder care, and pet care services as a teenager, and I am now in my mid 50s. I love caring for others and making them feel supported. I have worked with children from infants through high school. As a teen, I was the neighborhood babysitter :-). After I finished college, I became a substitute teacher for grades K-12 and subsequently an elementary school teacher of 2nd grade. Kids are great little people! During my high school years, I was the neighborhood pet sitter. Currently I am able to go to the pet's home to make sure they are taken for walks and fed along with other needs. Dogs, cats, pet rabbits, and other furry creatures are little bundles of love. :-) My elder care experience began with my grandmother who developed Alzheimer's nearly 10 years ago. I took care of her daily living needs, cooking, errands, and social events. I have since had a number of elder care clients who need support in their living space.
