I am available occasional weekday evenings and weekends for sitting. I have my Bachelor's of Science in Developmental Psychology with a minor in sociology and more than enough Early Childhood Education and Development credits under my belt. In regards to my experience in the early childhood field, I have spent the majority of my time for the past 10 years working with young children of different ages and aptitudes, in both schools and in the home. I started nannying during my undergraduate career and then worked in a private French-American preschool for 2 years prior to temporarily moving to LA. My babysitting style is characterized by playing, creativity, exploration, and books/reading, and I do my best to keep TVs/tablets off when I babysit. I am a 25 year old college graduate looking for some night work as I work full time during the day. I have a background in medical, working for 3 years as a hospital corpsman in an inpatient and labor/delivery ward, I am first aid qualified, and I am currently active duty military. My childcare background comes from a mixture of infant care while working labor and delivery and also having 6 siblings (the youngest of which I adopted due to my father’s death). I also have a background in working as a dog trainer (with a specialty in huskies and German Shepards) and am trained in basic pet first aid. While working inpatient, I also dealt with many elderly patients as far as in-unit hospice cases, and I am more than open to helping care for anyone whether they are at the start or end of their life! I only speak English (and some German/Russian for dog training), so households that mainly speak another language likely won’t be a good fit.
