Not currently accepting new families. I Hi my name is Seraphina and I'm a student at Merritt College. I'm currently working as a server and studying to become to a paralegal. I've been babysitting children since I was 14, when I started watching over family friends' children. When I was 15 I started working at Strawberry Canyon Explorer Camp where I worked for 8 years teaching children ages 4-10. At camp I worked with kids one on one as well as in large groups. I've also spent years volunteering in local elementary schools. I love teaching and hope to be an elementary school teacher in a few years. I've primarily worked with kids ages 4-7 but have experience with older as well. I love bringing them outside and teaching them sports, as well as helping them with that tough math problem. In my free time I read a lot, especially comics, and dream about playing lacrosse again. Please note that I have no experience with children younger than 3. Thanks for looking at my profile, I hope to hear from you soon!
My name is Nina, and I am from Sacramento, CA. I am an alumni Psychology major from Menlo College. While attending Menlo College, I also played on the collegiate women's soccer team. I love outdoors and athletics. I currently work as a recruiting coordinator at Menlo College, but before that I worked at SJND High School as an Academic Success Coach. Working at SJND has helped me learn so many new things contributing to my career as a caregiver. I have a true passion for working with children and I am so excited about the opportunity to meet new families and create a relationship with kids. I hope to hear from you :)
“Nina was amazing. Can’t wait yo have her back! ”
Hey there! My name is Isabelle. I’m a Bay Area native and I’ve been babysitting for 10+ years, including several stints as a long term nanny. I have experience with all ages, but really love the magic of pre-k/early elementary ages. I graduated from Cal Poly SLO a few years ago and recently returned to the Bay Area- I’m currently looking for weekend or date night bookings. I previously attended San Domenico school in San Anselmo where I raced mountain bikes before returning to coach their mountain biking team part-time. I'm WFA, CPR, and AED certified and have coached multiple mountain bike camps in Marin county, which gave me a lot of experience with tweens and teens. During my time in SLO I worked in nanny shares and for a family with twin preschoolers, so I also have extensive experience juggling multiple toddlers at once :) I love art and cooking, and am more than happy to do creative projects with your kiddos, bake healthy treats with them, or get them outside on a hike or bike ride!
🌟 Looking for New Families! 🌟 Hi! My name is Brooke. I'm originally from the Bay Area, spent the last five years in Denver, and recently moved back home. I've always loved nannying and babysitting. I have a background in theatre and love being creative, putting on shows, playing games, and using my imagination with the children I care for. I truly enjoy spending time with kids and often joke that I'm a kid at heart myself. 😊 I have an older sister, and when my cousin was born when I was 8 years old, I discovered how much I loved being around children. Watching her grow and spending time with her sparked a passion that eventually led me to nannying, which has been one of the most rewarding parts of my life. I consider myself highly responsible, dependable, and respectful of others' time. I pride myself on being a strong multitasker, a fast learner, and someone who can solve problems while still creating a fun, engaging environment for children. I communicate clearly, follow instructions well, and always strive to make life easier for the families I work with. One important boundary I have is that I do not provide care for sick children. Unfortunately, I tend to get sick easily, and when that happens it affects my ability to fulfill commitments to other families and responsibilities. If a child is actively sick when I arrive and I was not informed beforehand, I may need to leave. I greatly appreciate open communication regarding illness so that we can respect each other's time and expectations. I value reliability, honesty, and mutual respect, and I look forward to connecting with families who do as well. Feel free to reach out—I would love to chat and see if we're a good fit!
“We loved having Brooke take care of our 3.5 year old son for the day. Brooke was punctual; communicated well with updates; and had a lot of positive energy. Our son was excited to spend the day with her from beginning to end. We look forward to having Brooke babysit the kids again! ”
Hello! My name is Rebecca, but just Becky's fine :) I earned my Bachelors Degree in Theatre Arts (performance emphasis) from San Francisco State University with honors in 2015 and my master’s degree in clinical psychology from Pepperdine University just this year! I am about to start full time work as an associate marriage and family therapist. I had heard so many great things about Urban Sitter from friends, so I decided to join in on the fun in 2015! I worked for Urban Sitter from 2015 to 2023, everything from occasional to full time. Unfortunately I had to take a medical leave last year—but now I’m healthy, out of school and can’t wait to work with your kids again. It might not be my full time job anymore, but kids are the best reprieve from the stressors of my day job. I have experience with a wide age range, from kids as young as two weeks to as old as eleven years. I've worked with over 100 families by now, so I'm pretty well prepared for what's thrown my way! I'd say the age range I tend to work best with is infant to toddler--but that's not to say I don't enjoy working with kids older. Got a seven year old obsessed with Pokemon? Me too. I'm all for it. Can't wait to meet and hang out with your wonderful kids! Note: Due to ever increasing gas prices and bridge toll, please note that I will usually not travel to SF or across another bridge for a job less than $100 overall. This of course does not include any jobs I may apply to on the job board. There may be outliers to this rule (for example: if I’m already in SF that day), so it never hurts to message me and ask!
“Kids loved Rebecca immediately and she was prompt, professional and super easy to coordinate with! ”

"UrbanSitter is my go-to for quality sitters! I can book weeks ahead of time or easily find a same-day sitter when in a bind. I even hired a part-time nanny during a daycare transition. Customer service is helpful and babysitters respond in a timely manner."
