Hi! My name is Sho. I'm 21 with a passion for working with kids, and helping them to learn, to grow, and to have fun! I’m SFUSD certified since 2025. I began working with children in as an intern at Sunset Elementary School in San Francisco, where I interned until I got promoted later that year. After completing my internship, I joined Bay Area Community Resources working with students at Sunset Elementary through their before school and afterschool programs. Right now I currently work as a second grade afterschool teacher. I'm responsible for supervising students, leading activities, conflict resolution, and creating a safe, fun, and welcoming environment. I also help run the morning care program at our elementary school, where I supervise children from K through 5th. I'm also majoring in Childhood Development Administration at City College of San Francisco. I'm really into soccer, music, art, and writing. I love getting my hands dirty with arts and crafts, whether it’s painting, drawing, or just finding something fun that the kids enjoy doing. I'd say I'm pretty chill, patient, and entertaining. I like being someone kids can have fun with and feel comfortable around, but I also know when to set boundaries and routines to make sure that they’re safe and that things are organized. Working with kids has honestly been one of the most rewarding experiences I've had in my career. I’ve really enjoy getting to know each of my kids and watching them grow over time. I'd love to bring that same energy to babysitting, and hopefully get to know your family! :)

I have a degree in Psychology from UFRJ (Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro), in Brazil. When I first came to the U.S.(96) I was a stay at home mom. my kids were 7 and 2. I've been working with kids (other than mine) since 2003. I have been serving and helping families with children ranging in ages from 4 months to 6 years old. I think it's fun and very rewarding to see any child grow, and I'm happy and proud to be a part of a child's development, as well as give parents a helping hand in their journey of raising their children.
