Hi I’m Meagan, I am a person who is passionate about caring for and teaching young children from infants through age 5. I have over 20 years of child care experience. I am CPR and first aid certified, I am a creative and active person who enjoys helping children explore the world through art, music, outdoor activities, and sensory play. I have 72 units of early childhood education including infant and toddler development courses. I also speak Spanish, some Portuguese and a little bit of French. I enjoy watching children explore the world around them and conquer the challenges life puts on their paths. My care taking style is play based because I believe children experience the world best when they are actively engaged in playing, exploring and using their imaginations to create new experiences for themselves. I’ve worked with kids of all ages, from toddlers (2.5 years) to teens (17 years), and I absolutely love creating fun, engaging activities for them. Arts and crafts are some of my favorite things to do with the kiddos, but I’m also happy to help out with homework or school projects. Hi! I’m a first-generation college graduate and soon-to-be nursing student with a deep passion for caregiving. As the eldest in my large extended family, I’ve been caring for little ones, from infants as young as 6 months to 12 year olds since I was a kid myself. Being the go-to babysitter for cousins, neighbors, and family friends has always felt natural to me. I’m CPR certified and a certified nurse assistant with hands-on experience in both childcare and elder care. I’ve worked in a nursing home and have helped care for my grandmother for the past seven years, so I’m also very comfortable supporting seniors and assisting with daily needs.
