Hello, If you are looking for experience you’ve found it! Ive worked in a hospital O.R. The reason I share that is because I do not panic and have seen it ALL. Safety being my number one priority for your child. I am en educated Early Childhood caregiver with all of the CA required Units to teach preschool and fully Red Cross CPR/First aid certified. I was a private Nanny full time for a local family for several years, caring for their 2 children from infancy. Those children are school age now. The last 2 years Ive been providing back up care for business, serving families in the Bay area providing care in their homes. Im a big proponent of play and the important role it plays in a child's development. I especially enjoy outside time. I studied horticulture and am hugely passionate about plants. “I can’t recommend her highly enough! She was absolutely wonderful with my 3-year-old, and I would happily have her take care of her again. What stood out to me most was how quickly and naturally she connected with my daughter. My daughter was completely enamored with her and happily followed her gentle guidance. She was warm and playful, but also incredibly capable and independent — I felt completely comfortable leaving her to take the lead without needing direction from me. I especially appreciated how respectful she was of my daughter as a little person. She would check in with her about what she wanted to do, listen to her preferences, and adapt based on her mood rather than trying to force a particular activity. They read books, sang songs, played together, and she seemed to instinctively know when to engage and when to simply follow my daughter’s lead. She has such a lovely, gentle way with children while still being confident and in charge. My daughter clearly felt safe, comfortable, and cared for with her — and, most importantly, had a wonderful time. We would absolutely love to have her back!”
