I've always enjoyed working with kids and have experience babysitting, including caring for a 10-year-old boy over the summer, experience as a summer camp counselor, and helped as an assistant cheer coach for the summer at California high school. During my time babysitting, I helped with meals, transportation, activities, and making sure he had a fun and safe time. I'm also comfortable caring for pets and have experience with both cats and dogs. I am a 2nd grade teacher with an Early Childhood Education background. I have been teaching for 6 years. Prior to this I was a full time nanny or live in nanny from 19-26. I have cared for a variety of children from infants to teenagers. My primary care has been infants through age 8. I have cared for high special needs kids as well such as Down syndrome, autism, and childhood cancer. I also am a mom to a level 1 autistic child who’s 7. I am seeking part time work and would not be bringing my own child. I work full time as a teacher during the school year and will be off all summer seeking occasional babysitting or tutoring if interested.
