Hi my name is Dessie. I have experience with babysitting children and dogs. I have past experience with childcare and also currently babysit from time to time. I used to work as a childcare facilitator, where I would do arts and crafts, learning activities, prepared snacks and schedule downtime for the littles. I currently babysit when time allows it and love to do art projects and fun creative sensory games with pantry foods. I also encourage to meet before babysitting to ensure it is a good fit. My experience with dogs has been in a span of several years whether is walking, dog sitting, or just taking care of my own. I have a dog of my own that is very sweet and gentle. In the past I would dog sit for a lot of friends and would also do dog walking for strangers (through dog-walking app) from time to time. I have always loved dogs and have been volunteering at shelters here are there. Outside of childcare and dog care. I work an administrative job for an environmental sustainable company. I often spend my down time rock climbing, running and organizing/ cleaning spaces. I thrive in an environment where I can organize and clean. Often if I am babysitting or dog sitting I will clean the home as much as I can when asked to. If that’s not something you’d like I will respect your space and home but will definitely clean after your pup or child. I know it’s tough finding someone to trust to be in your home and take care of your loved ones so I also encourage that having a nanny cam or pet cam to check in is a good way to have a piece of mind and am always open to any suggestions or constructive criticisms. If you have any questions please reach out. Thank you!

I cannot recommend Dessrie highly enough when it comes to caring for dogs. She is not only patient, attentive, and deeply responsible, but she also has a natural connection with animals that puts both pets and their owners at ease. What stands out most about Dessrie is the level of trust you can place in her. She is dependable, communicative, and treats every dog as if they were her own. Whether it’s ensuring their safety, giving them the right amount of exercise, or providing plenty of love and attention, she goes above and beyond. If you’re looking for someone who is reliable, trustworthy, and truly great with dogs, Dessrie is the person you can count on without hesitation

Booked by 4 families in San Francisco, CA

Hi families! My name is Laura, and I’m a warm, reliable, and experienced nanny currently completing my degree in special education. I’m available for evening babysitting, morning hours during the week, and weekend childcare support. I’ve worked with children of all ages—from 3 months to 14 years—through my years as a full-time nanny, babysitter (since age 16!), and camp counselor. I also have extensive experience supporting children with a wide range of special needs, and I love integrating what I’m learning in my teaching degree into the way I care for and engage with kids. Whether it’s bedtime stories, arts and crafts, outdoor play, tutoring, or helping with routines and transitions, I bring energy, empathy, and structure to every family I work with. I’d love to support your family, whether you need a dependable date-night sitter or more regular help. I’m happy to provide references and look forward to connecting!

Laura was great with my kid! I had the sense he was in really good hands with her.

Booked by 6 families in San Francisco, CA

Hello! Nice to meet you! My name is Nicole, I am a current college student and offer child care, pet care and housekeeping services. Some skills I have include painting, arts and crafts, playing sports such as basketball and football, martial arts, and dancing. I also provide household services such as cleaning, organizing, laundry, and cooking. I love being a child caretaker and making them smile and having fun with them! I have several years of experience in taking care of children especially preschoolers and the ages of 4-6. I also had experience teaching elementary school children about healthy living and have experience tutoring children. I also have several years of experience taking care of pets such as dogs, rabbits, and birds as a pet owner.

Nicole exceeded all of my expectations. My son can sort of take advantage of new sitters but she did amazing. She jumped right in starting playing with him, helped make dinner so I could get ready, gave my son a bath (which wasn’t a requirement nor did I think he would want one), and got him AND his best friend to bed. Both children under 4. She was communicative the entire time she was at my house. My son woke up in the morning asking where she went because he wanted her to stay. Will definitely be using her again in the future.

Booked by 1 family in San Francisco, CA

Hi there! I’m Scout. I’m a reliable, friendly, and creative caregiver with experience working with kids from toddler age through high school. In addition to my day job as a swim instructor in San Francisco, I’ve taught after-school programs, professionally run Dungeons & Dragons campaigns for children ages 9-16 (and casually for family and friends of all ages), and spent most of last year as a live-in caregiver for two children under 10 before the family moved out of town. I bring patience, empathy, and a love of hands-on learning to every job. Always happy to help with homework, organize crafts and games, or help keep things calm and structured during busy moments. Kids tend to feel comfortable and confident around me, and I take pride in creating a fun, supportive environment for them to learn and grow. I love how so often the littlest humans are the most authentic (and, at times, brutally and hilariously honest) of us all. I’m also a life-long cat lover (I grew up with some incredibly beloved kitties back home in NYC, and I currently have a sweet boy who loves spending his evenings switching between my roommates and my rooms for snuggles), and am always happy to help out with kitties. I’m also happy to help out with chores around the house or running errands, as I get that having a few extra tasks off your plate can make a day far less overwhelming. When I’m not working with kids or giving swimming lessons, you can find me planning my next big hike (I recently completed the Appalachian Trail), reading, spending time with my family, or working on a new D&D campaign.

We absolutely love having Scout care for our kids. They are incredibly energetic, playful, and fully engaged. As a swim instructor, they confidently swim with the kids and actively teach them, which has been amazing for building both skills and confidence. They also jump right into imaginative play—Barbies, LEGOs, and creative games—and love getting outside for hikes and adventures. Our kids adore them, and we always felt they were safe, happy, and having so much fun. We would highly recommend Scout to any family looking for someone active, trustworthy, and genuinely great with kids.

Booked by 2 families in San Francisco, CA

Hi, my name is Toshaleza (pronounced TOE-SHUH-LAY-ZUH) and most people call me Tosha. I was born and raised in California into a huge extended family and having always had a way with babies and small children, I was the kid that happily babysat my younger cousins and family friends for free (until my mom insisted I start charging for my services😄). Professionally, I have worked with children for 28 years (8 as a Montessori preschool teacher and 20 as a nanny). As a nanny I have had the pleasure of working with 4 great families caring for 9 amazing children and 1 really cool dog. I was with the first family for 7 years (the children were 11 y/o, 6 y/o, and 4 1/2 m/o when I started), the second family for 9 months (the children were 2 1/2 y/o and 3 w/o when I started), the third family for 2 years (the child was 2 y/o when I started), and the fourth family for 10 years (the children were 4 y/o, 1 y/o, in utero, and their dog was 6 y/o when I started). I just completed a 3 month temporary engagement as a Mother’s helper with a wonderful family (supporting the mom with their premature newborn twins). So, I am open to short term or long term positions and have worked with children from newborn to teens. I am kind, conscientious, loving, patient, respectful, organized, reliable, observant, communicative, encouraging, consistent, direct, engaging, and playful. I am looking for a part-time (20 - 36 hours per week) nanny position and will be available to start immediately.

Tosha has been fantastic with our daughter. She brings a balance of real educational background and genuine warmness.
