Hi everyone! My name is Valentina and I am a credentialed elementary school teacher looking to transition back into nannying. I have a bachelors in Psychology as well as a masters in Teaching, and was a 5th grade public school teacher from 2[removed]. Prior to that I was a nanny for many years, both part time and full time. I’ve been a full time nanny since 2023, but have a lot of flexibility in my schedule that I’m hoping to fill! I'm educated in child development from infancy through teenage years and have over 6 years of experience with kids and infants between newborn all the way to school age. I am comfortable with anything between tummy time, bottle feedings, nap training all the way to homework help/tutoring. In addition, I love pets, am fluent in both Spanish and English, have a cleared background live scan check with CPR certification, and have a clean driving record. I love being able to provide families with the security that their child is safe and in good hands as well as making sure to provide an engaging, warm, and safe environment for the kids. I don't take for granted the meaningful relationships that are built along the way. Hope to hear from you all soon!

Valentina was wonderful! She was punctual, super friendly and engaging with our kids as soon as she arrived. We'd definitely recommend her. She handled our two boys (ages 5 1/2 and 4) like a pro :)

Hi! My name is Karina, I am a part time nanny, part time elementary school art teacher, and a part time musician. I’ve been nannying the same kids for 6 years now, and it’s my biggest joy. However; I’m looking for some occasional extra hours. Would love to help your family out and watch your kids so you can go out and enjoy a date night, or even give you just sometime to yourself. I have been babysitting and nannying kids for 15 years now, and nothing really makes me happier.

Hi! My name is Danielle and I am currently a medical student at UCSF. I love to cook, bake, and find these two things are most enjoyable when I am hosting friends or serving. I have spent the past two years babysitting for various families through my church occasionally and for different events. I am firm with children while I also try my best to understand what it is like to have big emotions in such a small body. I find babysitting to be so joyous and I learn so much from each toddler, child, pre-teen, and teenager with whom I am privileged to interact. I understand that babysitting is an act of trust from the parents and their children and I do not take it lightly. I work hard to establish relationships with each child I babysit. I do not have any allergies and I have also dog sat for families.

Hello, I’m Alyssa. I am 36, I currently work as a lead 3/4 year old teacher through UCSF. I have over a decade of experience babysitting and nannying through urbansitter and I have 4 years of experience teaching in a preschool classroom. I have a double major in Human Development (BS) and Psychology (AB) from UC Davis. I also possess an Associate of Science degree in Early Childhood Education and 8 Associate of Arts degrees. I have current infant first aid and CPR certification as well as trust line (fingerprinting) certification. My upbringing prepared me for a career in childcare. I was raised the oldest female of thirteen cousins and often helped cook, change diapers, and care for my younger cousins with my grandmother every day after school. Caring for children from a very early age helped equip me with a variety of tools to approach children with patience, creativity, warmth, and kindness that I employ every day when I work with children. While I was in college, I nannied with children 1-on-1 for 7 years and I worked as a library aide for 5 years. In the past I volunteered for 8 years coaching volleyball and basketball to 3rd-8th graders, and volunteered for 2 years as a 1st grade English tutor. I began babysitting when a family from work asked me to help watch their three children. I also have lots of experience watching twins and their sibling simultaneously. You can probably tell from my extensive schooling background that providing quality education is one of my core beliefs. It is vitally important for me to contribute to shaping children’s growing minds in environments that are supportive, constructive, and open to letting children try different approaches to learning where they are allowed to fail and grow from their mistakes. I love encouraging literacy, teaching through songs, scaffolding how to try new things on the playground, creating art projects, and incorporating gross motor activity to stimulate retention in the classroom. Thank you for reading and looking forward to hearing from you soon! I have a 24 hour cancellation policy - I will charge 50% for the cancelled booking with less than 24 hours notice. I have multiple references for cat, dog, reptile, and house sitting. I also have references for doing overnight care & before/after school drop-off.

Alyssa was on time, professional, and even brought new games for our kids to play with. They were comfortable with her right away. We would definitely work with her again!
