Hello! I’m Judi. I am a 34 year old preschool teacher who loves working with children and is really looking forward to working with yours! I am a teacher and mom to an awesome 12 year old. I am back to Urban sitter after a hiatus and I’m interested in date night gigs and other short term nannying. I have over 15 years of experience working in early education. I currently work full time at an amazing preschool in Glen park. We practice play based learning there and that is the philosophy I use in my interactions with kids. I practice gentle parenting at home and approach all children with the same mindset. I am warm, friendly, reliable and punctual. Thank you for your time and consideration!

“Anna worked for my family for a few months helping with household chores such as dishes, laundry, picking up, food prep, vacuuming, etc. She did a fantastic job, and I cannot recommend her highly enough. She has great communication skills and was pleasant to chat with. She worked diligently, and quickly learned our family's preferences for the chores we delegated to her. We've hired a few other people to work on these kind of things in the past, and Anna was *by far* the best person we have ever had in this role. Again, I cannot recommend her highly enough. (We would have kept using her, but our schedules changed and no longer lined up.)”
Hi, moms and dads! I'm Suverce. I’ve been working with children for over 10 years as an au pair, a nanny, a tutor, and an occasional sitter, and I genuinely love what I do. I was an aupair for two years. I used us take care of 2 lovely kids. Luca is 3 yo, and Milly is 11 mo. I like having my time with kids. I`m energetic, creative, fun, and at the same time, a responsible and kind person. I have an easy connection with kids that they like spending their time with me! I would like to tell you about my one day as an Aupair: I take kids in the morning and help them eat their breakfast. I prepare their food, and I feed Milly. I help Luca to get changed. I drive to his school. After I leave Luca at his school, I take Milly to the Gymboree. After a couple of hours, I drive back to Luca`s school to pick him up. I read them books, and we do art projects with Luca. I help him use the potty. We play together, and if the weather is good, we go outside to take a walk. We also go to the zoo, playground, museums.. I help Milly eat her food, cook baby food for her, sing to her, and read books all the time. I change her diaper and do her routines every day. We sometimes go grocery shopping together. Luca loves it! In my second year as an au pair, I took care of Madeleine who is 6yo. We had so much fun.I love to go to the Oakland zoo, Lawrence science museum, Chabot space museum, SF pier 39, some playgrounds, especially SF Dolores park and Piedmont dracena park which are suitable for climbing and riding a bike. Emerville pump it up, Oakland sharks ice skating and Alameda ceramic painting place are good opportunity for rainy days. Before I was an au pair, I worked in the kindergarten as a volunteer for almost a year. I played with them and did lots of art-crafts. I helped them eat their lunches and brush their teeth. I taught them colors, numbers, arts and crafts, etc. (About me: I graduated with a degree in chemical engineering and completed a master's in engineering management at CSU East Bay. I am currently employed as a project manager for a construction contractor.)
Joana here. I came from Brazil to SF in 2007, and have been living on Bernal Heights since then. I've been babysitting kids of all ages professionally for the past 15 years, in a wide range of ways. School pickups, taking to activities, sleep overs, date nights, back up nanny for the day, taking kids to museums, zoo, playgrounds, hikes, etc. I have traveled to 25 countries and love sharing my experiences. I own a fully insured car and have a clean driving record. I love the outdoors! I am healthy and usually kids like me. I'm responsible but also fun. I know how to do anything house related and don’t mind helping out. I love pets. I am flexible and adaptable to follow any philosophies that the family has chosen to guide their little ones. Punctuality, positivity and great communication are my main qualities. Hope to meet you soon. Cheers Minimum of 3 hours per job* I am a proud grandma of 2 boys 🩵 ***Please be considerate of my time as I don’t have any work benefits and only cancel if it is a real emergency. I don’t charge any cancellation fee because I believe in the goodness of people’s hearts.
Hi, I'm Shak! As the eldest in a large family, childcare has been a part of my life from a young age, and over the past 15 years I've worked primarily with newborns and toddlers, though I genuinely love kids of all ages. I bring an empathy-first approach to every family I work with. For infants, I specialize in sleep training and mother's helper support, and I'm happy to work alongside new parents through that journey every step of the way. I also focus on early language development through textures, sounds, rhythm, and music. With toddlers, I lean into interest-led play — imagination building, curiosity about the world, early reading and counting. For school-age kids and teens, I emphasize active listening, healthy boundaries, and creating safe spaces for authentic expression. I also have meaningful experience with neurodiverse children who benefit from a different level of engagement and care. And since I studied classical text and diction, I love putting that to use — making up plays, collaborative storytelling, theatre games, you name it. But I'm just as happy getting active: bike rides, fort building, kite flying at the beach, little hikes, and whatever else sparks joy. I have a very low cancellation rate. If I accept a booking I am committed and will be there. I also have a reliable vehicle. I'd love to be a part of your family's village. Feel free to reach out with any questions!
