Hello! My name is Ash and I believe young minds are the most valuable of them all. Creating exciting memories through exploring our parks, spending time dreaming up magical age appropriate crafts, exploring foods and enjoying the ritual of a daily adventure are some of the simple ways I enjoy providing happiness, and most importantly, care. I hold a masters in developmental psychology, 8 years of professional experience as a nanny along with 13 credentials in Montessori Early education. Let's meet soon !

Hi, my name is Oumaima. I'm 28 years old and I'm originally Italian. I consider myself a very reliable, patient and happy person. :) I truly enjoy spending time with kids so that makes my job a lot easier to do, I do love teaching them new things and be able to help them improve their skills. I have worked with children of all ages for the past 5years (newborns- 12/15yo) so I know how to handle a workload and be on top of the situation at all times.  I am a very energetic and outgoing person who enjoys outdoors activities and sports.  With the previous kids i worked with, we enjoyed going to the library together and read in italian/english; go to music classes, as well as gymnastic and yoga classes. If the situation allowed it we would spend the day at the museum or have playdates with our little friends at the park, of course,  depending on the age of the children activities tend to vary but i'm sure we'll find something exciting and fun to do! Previous experiences also include -sleep training  -introduction to solid food/finger food  -potty training  -laundry wash/fold  No need to mention that maintaining some sort of order in the house at all times and help with light housekeeping/meal prep. if necessary is totally fine and understandable; obviously my goal as a nanny is to provide the best environment possible for both the children and the parents.  My first language is italian but I also speak english, spanish and arabic. I would be very happy to introduce the kids to different languages but if not required english works perfectly fine.  I hope i was able to tell you a little bit about myself, but if you'd like to learn more please don't hesitate to contact me. Looking forward to hearing from you soon! Wish you a great rest of your day  Thank you -UMI

$40 per hour for 1 child
Booked by 5 families in San Francisco, CA

I'm a career nanny currently looking for weekend opportunities to work with newborns to fulfill requirements for my Newborn Care Specialist and Postpartum Doula certifications. I taught elementary school for 3 years prior to being a nanny, and have been a full time nanny for 4 years. I approach child care (and most things in life) with calmness and understanding. I love building relationships with kids and watching them grow. Please reach out if you’d like a few hours of additional support with the newest member of your family!

It is with both gratitude and sadness that we share this recommendation for Amanda, who has been not just our nanny for the past year and a half, but truly a part of our family. We are relocating, and while we are excited for what’s ahead, leaving Amanda behind is one of the hardest parts of our move. When Amanda first came into our lives, we were coming off of a less-than-ideal experience with another nanny. From the start, she completely changed how we viewed having someone care for our children. Her calm, steady presence and the gentle, loving way she interacts with our kids put us at ease right away. She meets each child where they are and connects with them in a genuine, heartfelt way. Our children bonded with Amanda quickly, and it’s clear how much they love her. She is endlessly creative—whether it’s researching new activities, planning fun outings, or setting up thoughtful crafts, she always brings fresh ideas that are engaging and age-appropriate. She has been such a gift in helping our kids learn, play, and explore the world around them. She’s the one who got our son hooked on books, happily reading with him for hours. One of the things we appreciate most is Amanda’s calm and grounded nature—we have never seen her lose her cool. She is never distracted or on her phone; when she is with our kids, she is fully present and engaged. On a practical level, Amanda is everything you’d hope for in a caregiver: punctual, professional, dependable, and communicative. She always checked in with us and approached everything as a true teammate. We trusted her completely and relied on her every day, which gave us so much peace of mind. It’s impossible to overstate how much we’ll miss Amanda, and we wish she could come with us. Any family lucky enough to work with her will quickly realize just how special she is. While we may be moving, Amanda will always be a part of our lives and our children’s lives—her impact on our family is lasting.
