Back home, I was an English teacher for both kids and adults, and now I’m living in the U.S. as an au pair. These experiences have given me the chance to care for children of different ages, from babies to teenagers, and also to connect with them through both learning and play. I have volunteered at a number of places that have worked directly with children. For example, I have assisted and supervised children with hard of hearing by speaking to them and playing with them. Hi, I'm Michelle! I've been working with young children for over 10 years, from summer camps, to babysitting, to working in preschools. I have two years of formal full-time teaching experience, plus many years of volunteer experience in Extended School Year programs for children with disabilities.
