Julia Caroline San Francisco
$30 per hour for 1 child

Hi, my name is Julia! I’m originally from Brazil, and I’ve always loved working with children. Back home, I was an English teacher for both kids and adults, and now I’m living in the U.S. as an au pair. These experiences have given me the chance to care for children of different ages, from babies to teenagers, and also to connect with them through both learning and play. I really enjoy spending time with kids in creative ways! Reading stories, painting, dancing around the living room, or just playing games that make them laugh. I’m also happy to help with homework, especially when it comes to English. For me, it’s important to make every activity both fun and meaningful. Besides childcare, I’m also very comfortable with pets. I grew up around animals and I love giving them attention, whether that’s going on walks, playing, or just making sure they feel loved and cared for. At home, I can help with everyday tasks like light cleaning, laundry, organizing, meal prep, or errands. I like keeping things organized and cozy, so families can feel more at ease.

$30 per hour for 1 child
Booked by 2 families in San Francisco, CA

Hello! I am Ana . I am currently a recent graduate at the University of California, Berkeley. I am home in Los Ángeles for the summer. I love working with children. I have had many younger cousins in my family who I connect with very well and have taken care of from time to time. I am a very dependable and trustworthy person as well as respectful. I follow instruction and learn quickly. I know I do not have much professional experience but I when I have babysat and nannied, the families have been very pleased. I hope to be able to connect with more people and help to take some stresses of your shoulders knowing your kids are being well looked after. I also offer household help and pet care. I have grown up with pets all my life, as well as helping to clean the house and would be more than willing to help. I am a very flexible worker and am willing to be there for any family I work with; if you unexpectedly need time to work more hours I will be there. I am also a creative and active person and will make sure to help keep your kids active if that is your wish.

Sofia was wonderful with my son— super attentive and proactive. Would definitely hire again.

Carol San Francisco
$20 per hour for 1 child

Hello! - My name is Carol I am a freshman studying public health at USFCA (University of San Francisco). I can speak English and Mandarin. I have volunteered at a number of places that have worked directly with children. For example, I have assisted and supervised children with hard of hearing by speaking to them and playing with them. I have also interacted with kids who struggled with socializing. I helped the instructors by setting up crafts, reading to them, and playing games with them. I own a dog myself, he's a dauchsaund and corgi mix! So I am more than willing to help with taking care of them. If you'd like more specific information, I am more than happy to send you a PDF of my resume!

Imani San Francisco
$35 per hour for 1 child

Hi!- I’m a college student studying social work and I have previous child experience with all ages, from those younger than one year old, up to teenage years; but I’m most familiar with toddlers. I’m currently looking for extra hours at the end of the week or the weekend. I’m one of the oldest cousins in my family, so that role automatically comes with babysitting responsibilities. I’m skilled in meal prep, activity planning, diaper changes, and I have my own car. I love watching kids learn and seeing where their curiosity leads them. I also have pet care and house sitting experience. I’m comfortable with any animal from dogs or cats, to amphibians and reptiles. I’m also able to cook and clean if needed.

Booked by 1 family in San Francisco, CA

Hi, I'm Michelle! I've been working with young children for over 10 years, from summer camps, to babysitting, to working in preschools. I have two years of formal full-time teaching experience, plus many years of volunteer experience in Extended School Year programs for children with disabilities. I have also taught drama and musical theatre to young children. My first priority is making sure children feel safe and supported, and I look to strike a balance between fun activities, and calm moments to decompress. My background in preschool classroom environments helps me to stay calm in moments of transition, and has provided me many positive guidance tools to help children regulate their emotions and express their needs. I am also happy to provide pet care and household cleaning/assistance as needed. I'm originally from New York, grew up in New Jersey, and now live in San Francisco's beautiful Inner Richmond with my partner and our rambunctious dog, Maisy. I speak conversational Italian, love to sing, and have a degree in Theatre. In my spare time, I can be found outdoors with my dog, cooking, doing yoga, and playing ice hockey recreationally. I look forward to meeting you!

Michelle saved us with a last-minute booking when another sitter cancelled. She was very prompt, responsive, and clear with her communication. She was kind and engaging immediately with the kids (ages 2 & 4); very thoughtful and helpful. Did a great job keeping it fun while redirecting some rowdier kid energy. Would love to have her another time!
