Hi! My name is Ryann (they/them) and I recently graduated from SFSU with a Bachelors Degree in Women and Gender Studies with a minor in LGBTQ+ studies. I'm going back to school in the fall to start my Masters Program in Sexuality Studies. I am flexible, social, playful, a strong communicator, and I love working with kids, animals, and elderly folks. Throughout my life, I have babysat for many families with children of various ages, typically multiple children at the same time. My responsibilities included cooking and prepping food, helping with homework, cleaning, arts and crafts, and transportation to and from school. I frequently care for my friends' and neighbors' pets; dog walking, feeding the animals, refilling water bowls, overnight cat sitting, and offering various forms of enrichment. I am passionate about animals and providing the best quality of life for them. I have been volunteering at Openhouse, the LGBTQ+ senior center, since October every week and it has allowed me to expand my knowledge and skills around senior care. I have assisted disabled folks with everyday tasks, ranging from going to the grocery store to the emergency vet. I am patient, able bodied, accommodating, and quick to help out.

I have taught infants, toddlers, pre-school age, pre-K students at a private school in San Francisco. I also taught elementary & middle school students during school hours & after-school programs in SF public schools. I have also tutored elementary students. I have babysat children ages 1-5. I was a full-time caretaker for my now 5 year old daughter when she was an infant & toddler. Also, I have worked with young children with autism as a Behavior Technician as well. I can work as a household assistant & can cook, clean, & run errands. I can drive to appointments, activities after school or do other tasks. I am allergic to cats & dogs.

I am also a student by night, enrolled in child development to learn more about the little ones and how to best care for them! I'm reliable, communicative, and comfortable with pets, and I'm happy to help with light baby-related tidying as needed. I'm CPR/First Aid trained (but would need to renew). Hello! My name is Cepideh (Cep for short) and I currently work part-time researcher at UC San Francisco, a role I secured after graduating from UC Santa Barbara in 2021. In undergrad, I was an active student involved in the Undergraduate Mentorship Program which mentors and guides first year students through academic and personal situations. One of my first ever jobs was as a swim instructor at the local swim school De Anza Cupertino Aquatics (DACA). I taught children ages 7-11 basic swim strokes and safety during their lessons. I also had the opportunity to work as a camp counselor during my high school career. I led a group of elementary school children through their activities in a weeklong excursion in the Watsonville outdoor school. I find an incredible sense of wonderment when I have the opportunity to work with children. I end up learning more than I anticipated through conversations and activities I engage in with the children. I look forward to continuing to work with children in my local area!
