Hi! I'm Riley, I'm 23, and living in the Nob Hill/Polk Gulch area. I graduated from the University of Denver with a BSBA in marketing last June, but grew up in the East Bay, and have been living in San Francisco for almost three months. Throughout high school, I frequently babysat for a family with three kids (aged 2-12) and a dog, along with a family with two kids (aged 4-7) and cats. I also worked at a summer camp, responsible for around ten 2-6 year-olds at a time for several hours a day. I'm comfortable cooking, cleaning, helping kids with tasks like dressing, and of course, playing! I can help with homework, assuming it's nothing too advanced. I also have a kitten of my own. I would love to meet you and your family and babysit whenever possible. I'm enthusiastic and outgoing, and love spending time with kids! I love to make friendship bracelets, paint, cook, bake, color, and lots of other activities that we could have fun doing together. I'm also happy to take kids out to the park, for a snack, and other outings. I don't have a car, but I'm comfortable doing errands I can walk to. Also happy to help with laundry and other household tasks whenever the kids are busy playing and within eyeshot.
Hi, I’m Ann! I work full-time as an interior designer, and am looking to help out families with date nights and occasional babysitting on evenings and weekends. I’ve been babysitting off and on for family and friends since I was teenager (newborns- age 9). I have various other experience working with children including volunteer ski coaching for kids age 4-7, being a first grade teaching assistant, and being an outdoor school camp counselor for middle schoolers. In my spare time I enjoy a mix of both active and creative hobbies, and when babysitting enjoy all sorts of kid's activities from park outings, games, arts & crafts, baking/cooking, or just watching a movie. I'm also a huge animal lover and grew up with dogs, cats, and horses. I currently have a sweet cat named Fig.
“Ann was great! Very kind & professional! ”
Hi! My name is Kate and I’m 23 born and raised in San Francisco. Currently I’m taking a gap year before continuing to law school next fall and would really like to continue working with kids till than. As a caregiver I really enjoy getting to know who the child really is so that I can meet at their level to be as helpful as possible. I love to have fun and explore with the kids I work with, even if it means jumping in muddy puddles outside. I am incredibly organized, on top of schedules/assignments, and am more than happy to help with a bit of housework. My schedule is very flexible so if there is a spontaneous date night or Sunday playdate, I am happy to jump in to help ease your world. I am CPR and First Aid certified and am fully up to date on all vaccinations/health needs. I am happy to provide documentation for any of that if you would like to see it. I also have a car that I can use to get to and from work, however, I would not be able to use it to transport kids. Prior to this past summer I don’t have much formal childcare experience, however I’ve been babysitting on and off since I was in high school. Over the summer I was a camp counselor for 3-6 year olds at the Greensboro Country Club and I also worked in their drop in daycare center which took kids 6 weeks-10 years. I would love the opportunity to get to know you and your family more, so feel free to reach out!
“Kate communicated well, on time, and took great care of our 3 year old in Noe Valley. we would recommend Kate and definitely look forward to her help in the future! thank you!”
Hi! My name is Ryann (they/them) and I recently graduated from SFSU with a Bachelors Degree in Women and Gender Studies with a minor in LGBTQ+ studies. I'm going back to school in the fall to start my Masters Program in Sexuality Studies. I am flexible, social, playful, a strong communicator, and I love working with kids, animals, and elderly folks. Throughout my life, I have babysat for many families with children of various ages, typically multiple children at the same time. My responsibilities included cooking and prepping food, helping with homework, cleaning, arts and crafts, and transportation to and from school. I frequently care for my friends' and neighbors' pets; dog walking, feeding the animals, refilling water bowls, overnight cat sitting, and offering various forms of enrichment. I am passionate about animals and providing the best quality of life for them. I have been volunteering at Openhouse, the LGBTQ+ senior center, since October every week and it has allowed me to expand my knowledge and skills around senior care. I have assisted disabled folks with everyday tasks, ranging from going to the grocery store to the emergency vet. I am patient, able bodied, accommodating, and quick to help out.
