My name is Fernanda, and I am from Colombia. I am university trained and licensed as a teacher in Colombia where I taught children ages 4 years to 14 years old. I am fluent in English and Spanish and for the past 2 years have been employed as a nanny caring for children ages 6 months to 3 years old. I am a very patient, responsible, and dependable person who is about promoting the well-being and overall development of children.
“Maria (she goes by Fernanda) was great with my two year old. She got here right as I was in the middle of my daughter having just had an accident. Fernanda took over and handled it without complaint and helped change her. My toddler warmed up to her immediately and Fernanda took great care of her. Would definitely have her back!”
Hi my name is Dessie. I have experience with babysitting children and dogs. I have past experience with childcare and also currently babysit from time to time. I used to work as a childcare facilitator, where I would do arts and crafts, learning activities, prepared snacks and schedule downtime for the littles. I currently babysit when time allows it and love to do art projects and fun creative sensory games with pantry foods. I also encourage to meet before babysitting to ensure it is a good fit. My experience with dogs has been in a span of several years whether is walking, dog sitting, or just taking care of my own. I have a dog of my own that is very sweet and gentle. In the past I would dog sit for a lot of friends and would also do dog walking for strangers (through dog-walking app) from time to time. I have always loved dogs and have been volunteering at shelters here are there. Outside of childcare and dog care. I work an administrative job for an environmental sustainable company. I often spend my down time rock climbing, running and organizing/ cleaning spaces. I thrive in an environment where I can organize and clean. Often if I am babysitting or dog sitting I will clean the home as much as I can when asked to. If that’s not something you’d like I will respect your space and home but will definitely clean after your pup or child. I know it’s tough finding someone to trust to be in your home and take care of your loved ones so I also encourage that having a nanny cam or pet cam to check in is a good way to have a piece of mind and am always open to any suggestions or constructive criticisms. If you have any questions please reach out. Thank you!
“I cannot recommend Dessrie highly enough when it comes to caring for dogs. She is not only patient, attentive, and deeply responsible, but she also has a natural connection with animals that puts both pets and their owners at ease. What stands out most about Dessrie is the level of trust you can place in her. She is dependable, communicative, and treats every dog as if they were her own. Whether it’s ensuring their safety, giving them the right amount of exercise, or providing plenty of love and attention, she goes above and beyond. If you’re looking for someone who is reliable, trustworthy, and truly great with dogs, Dessrie is the person you can count on without hesitation”
I am an experienced childcare provider specializing in infant care. With over 10 years of experience working with private families, through a childcare agency and as a teacher assistant, I support children from birth through early childhood. My primary expertise is caring for infants 0-6 months, though I have extensive experience caring for children from infancy through toddlerhood. I provide attentive and individualized care that is developmentally informed and which supports each child’s unique temperament, personality and abilities. I am here to support you and your family in the ways that are most beneficial for you and supportive to you. In doing so, I offer peace of mind through tailored support to create a harmonious balance in your home and for those you love. Families often describe me as intuitive, attuned and calmly-energetic. Inspired by the gentle rhythm of Waldorf, the purposeful independence of Montessori and the relationship-centered foundations of RIE, my approach offers a unique balance of structure and freedom paired with intention and creativity. I believe in validating emotions, explaining processes or reasons and engaging in imaginative play. Whether you are looking for occasional care, last-minute assistance or something in between, my availability is for those who require flexible care rather than care on a regular basis. My academic background includes psychology and human development with a focus on health psychology and child development. I am TrustLine registered, Adult and Pediatric First Aid, CPR and AED certified and birth and postpartum doula care trained. I own a safe, reliable and well-maintained vehicle and have auto insurance coverage. I enjoy writing reflective pieces, photographing the natural world and practicing yoga. In my daily life, I have a strong sense of adventure which is one of the many aspects of myself that I love to share with children. I value their innate curiosity, endless imagination and humorous honesty. In addition to my childcare experience, I bring seven years of experience as a personal and family assistant. I am happy to support you and your family with household tasks, errands and other family-related needs as desired and when appropriate. If my listed availability doesn't fully align with your needs, feel free to reach out. I'm happy to see if I can accommodate you!
“We are so grateful that we met Naomi. We knew almost immediately that she was the perfect fit for our family. We were looking to hire someone who was experienced, discreet and most importantly, a wonderful role model for our daughters — and she exceeded our expectations. Naomi started working with us when our oldest was 3 years old and our youngest was 2 months old. We appreciate her flexibility to come earlier or stay later, willingness to fold not only our kids’ laundry but ours too, and her excitement in bringing our dog along for outings. She doesn’t just take care of our girls but she truly respects them, listens to them and meets them where they are. Our daughters love her! We recommend her completely.”
Hi! My name is Rebecca, I am 24 years old, and a recent graduate from UC Berkeley. I currently work part time as a Partnership Coordinator for the childcare non-profit Nurture, and as a behavioral class aide to autistic elementary students. I am Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED certified. I offer child care, senior care, and household services. I believe that play-based learning in a structured and nurturing environment is the key to healthy childhood development. 🌱 I love arts and crafts, can help with homework, and can drive to/from school. I love cooking and am happy to work with animals as well! 🐾 I have extensive experience in child care as I have been a family babysitter since I was 15 years old. I have also worked through IHSS as a caregiver for a high support needs autistic woman with an intellectual disability. These experiences have taught me patience, compassion, and the importance of accommodating different learning styles. Additionally, I have experience caring for an elderly family member with dementia, which then transitioned into end-of-life care. As an undergrad, I was a dedicated member of the Sage Mentorship Project. I served as a mentor and Program Director for students at Sylvia Mendez Elementary and Fairmont Elementary. I’m excited to meet you and your family! ☺️
Hello there! I’m Yelyzaveta, you also can call me Ellie — a trustworthy, experienced caregiver who’s loved working with children since I was 11. My childcare experience began with my nephew (diapers, doctor visits, feeding, baths, bedtime, homework help) and continued after I moved to the U.S. in 2022, when I lived with a family and cared for their 1-year-old and 3-year-old for over a year. My duties included meal preparation , daycare drop-offs and pickups , bathing, educational play, storytime, museum outings, and building routines that made the day calm and fun. I still help their family occasionally. I’m patient and attentive — when a child is upset I give them space, check they feel safe, and help them name and work through their feelings. I bring creativity to play (arts & crafts, building, interactive games), read aloud with enthusiasm, and support early learning and motor skills. I’m also comfortable with light household tasks while children nap, and happy to help with cooking and homework support. Outside of childcare, I work as a café lead. I hold a degree in Food Technology and plan to study something different in college. I speak English, Ukrainian, and Russian. People describe me as organized, responsible, and caring. I’m always more than happy to have a chat or a quick call with potential families so we can discuss details and make sure you feel comfortable before we begin. I’d love the opportunity to support your family and create a safe, fun, and caring environment for your children!
