Hello there! I’m Yelyzaveta, you also can call me Ellie — a trustworthy, experienced caregiver who’s loved working with children since I was 11. My childcare experience began with my nephew (diapers, doctor visits, feeding, baths, bedtime, homework help) and continued after I moved to the U.S. in 2022, when I lived with a family and cared for their 1-year-old and 3-year-old for over a year. My duties included meal preparation , daycare drop-offs and pickups , bathing, educational play, storytime, museum outings, and building routines that made the day calm and fun. I still help their family occasionally. I’m patient and attentive — when a child is upset I give them space, check they feel safe, and help them name and work through their feelings. I bring creativity to play (arts & crafts, building, interactive games), read aloud with enthusiasm, and support early learning and motor skills. I’m also comfortable with light household tasks while children nap, and happy to help with cooking and homework support. Outside of childcare, I work as a café lead. I hold a degree in Food Technology and plan to study something different in college. I speak English, Ukrainian, and Russian. People describe me as organized, responsible, and caring. I’m always more than happy to have a chat or a quick call with potential families so we can discuss details and make sure you feel comfortable before we begin. I’d love the opportunity to support your family and create a safe, fun, and caring environment for your children!
Hi there! I’m Scout. I’m a reliable, friendly, and creative caregiver with experience working with kids from toddler age through high school. In addition to my day job as a swim instructor in San Francisco, I’ve taught after-school programs, professionally run Dungeons & Dragons campaigns for children ages 9-16 (and casually for family and friends of all ages), and spent most of last year as a live-in caregiver for two children under 10 before the family moved out of town. I bring patience, empathy, and a love of hands-on learning to every job. Always happy to help with homework, organize crafts and games, or help keep things calm and structured during busy moments. Kids tend to feel comfortable and confident around me, and I take pride in creating a fun, supportive environment for them to learn and grow. I love how so often the littlest humans are the most authentic (and, at times, brutally and hilariously honest) of us all. I’m also a life-long cat lover (I grew up with some incredibly beloved kitties back home in NYC, and I currently have a sweet boy who loves spending his evenings switching between my roommates and my rooms for snuggles), and am always happy to help out with kitties. I’m also happy to help out with chores around the house or running errands, as I get that having a few extra tasks off your plate can make a day far less overwhelming. When I’m not working with kids or giving swimming lessons, you can find me planning my next big hike (I recently completed the Appalachian Trail), reading, spending time with my family, or working on a new D&D campaign.
“We absolutely love having Scout care for our kids. They are incredibly energetic, playful, and fully engaged. As a swim instructor, they confidently swim with the kids and actively teach them, which has been amazing for building both skills and confidence. They also jump right into imaginative play—Barbies, LEGOs, and creative games—and love getting outside for hikes and adventures. Our kids adore them, and we always felt they were safe, happy, and having so much fun. We would highly recommend Scout to any family looking for someone active, trustworthy, and genuinely great with kids.”
Hiya!!!! My name is Ashé (Cyrus) 🤓👋🏾 I’m a calm caregiver with 2+ years of childcare experience with kiddos aged 3–14. I am certified in CPR + First Aid training for children, infants, and adults, Mandated Reporter certified, Registered Behavior Technician, and Physical Safety certified. I’ve got a background in theater so I love jumping into play! Making up stories, going with the flow, matching high energy, or calmly reading are all facets of the environments I like to create. My approach to childcare is compassion-based and neurodiversity-informed and I seek to ensure all kids under my care feel safe, understood, and engaged! Hope to talk soon and please let me know if there are any questions I could answer! 😁
Hi Bay Area neighbors! My name is Astrid, and I'm a responsible and energetic careworker invested in providing fun and culturally informed care. I am adaptable to your unique family needs and want to create a fun and safe environment for your family. I'm currently a master of social work student and aspiring birthworker with experience caring for children, teens, and adults in a mental health capacity. I also have experience caring for infants, toddlers, and elementary-aged children, older adults and pets. I was raised by my grandmother who ran a small at-home daycare which sparked my passion for supporting healthy family ecosystems. Nowadays, I'm a tía to a 1-year-old baby and a cat mom to 2 rambunctious kittens. Because I am a full-time student with a day-time mental health worker job, I'm looking for one-time, occasional and part-time work. Please message me with your questions and inquiries. Let's see if we'd be a good fit!
“Astrid has been caring for me and my baby since my pregnancy. I’m a first time, young mom and Astrid was there for overnight support, she was available throughout the evening for diaper changes, warming up bottles and making sure my baby was fed, warm and happy. As my baby grew up Astrid has been great at making sure baby gets age appropriate play, including dancing and reading. Astrid often takes her on walks and fun local trips like the beach! She’s an integral part of our family and I know she’ll treat your family with the same respect, punctuality and care.”
Hi there! I’m Mia. I have been caring for children for 8 years as a babysitter and as the oldest of 3 siblings. I have a lot of experience with infants/toddlers, and I have also spent 5 years working with children on the autism spectrum (2-18 years old). I truly love working with kids and will use every opportunity to help them grow and learn. I hope that I'm the right fit for your family. Feel free to contact me, you won't be disappointed!
