Hello! My name is Jia and I am a recent graduate from San Francisco State University. I have an extensive background working with children, mainly grades K-6th. I have worked at an afterschool/summer program for 6 years (2 years volunteer, 4 years paid), looking after around 50 kids at a time. My roles there included chaperoning on daily park trips and weekly field trips, taking care of lunch and cleanup operations, as well as tutoring on math and English. My top priority is to always ensure the children are safe, but also to add some fun into their day! I understand that every child has different needs, so I’m always adapting and learning as I go. I can assist with cooking/meal prepping, cleaning, and running any errands as well if necessary. I also speak Mandarin and Cantonese!
I go by Nelli :) Experienced babysitter/nanny/doula. I started at Jovie in 2023, then moved to care.com, and now available with UrbanSitter! Once I realized how much I enjoy working with infants and advocating for parents I began studying to become a doula. I now am 4 years experienced with all ages working as a full spectrum doula who provides occasional infant and childcare. I am here to represent kids and families with the support and advocacy they need. (Also have excellent references :) Certifications: full spectrum doula, CPR, AED
Hello! My name is KamrynAyn (Kam) and I have over 10 years of experience in childcare. In high school I started my first summer nanny job, outside of normal babysitting. In college I babysat regularly for friends & family. I was an au pair in London for a lovely family, with two girls 3-5. It was the best year of my life. As I have began a professional career in biotech, I don’t have as much time to work as a nanny, but I miss spending time with kids. I am currently looking to provide occasional or part time care for the right family!
Hello, My name is Aryn, and I currently reside in the East Bay. I work full time as a college Advisor in Berkeley, specifically in International Education. I’ve worked with kids in all aspects for as long as I can remember. I was a junior lifeguard, tutored kids in high school, cared for elementary and middle school aged children in early college, was a student teacher to 5th and 6th grade students while studying abroad in college, and currently pick up shifts for families when they are needed. I love pets, especially dogs. I have a dog in my hometown of Los Angeles.
Hi families, My name is Gabrielle and I am a current master’s student at CSU East Bay in the School Psychology Program. I graduated from UCLA with a bachelor's degree in Psychology and a minor in Applied Development Psychology where I also interned at the UCLA Infant Development Program. In this role I cared for children three months to three years old, while taking courses focused on child development that could be directly applied in a high-quality early childhood education setting. My values and training are rooted in developmentally-appropriate and child-centered practices, where I truly believe in fostering child autonomy. With robust training in child development, I am willing and able to implement any routines and strategies you may already have with your children. I have a long history of caring for children starting in 2015 when I was in high school working in a home day care, babysitting for family members, and serving as a regular sitter for two families in Los Angeles 2[removed]. My more recent roles have been largely clinical or mental-health focused. I spent two years working as a clinic coordinator at a UCLA Health autism clinic and most recently worked at an elementary school supporting Tk-6th grade students with social-emotional learning. Generally, I am a fun-loving, optimistic, and ambitious individual. In my free time I enjoy cooking, baking, thrifting for things to decorate my new apartment, and hiking / being outdoors. I am a full-time student and work two full days at an elementary site so evening and weekend babysitting works best for me. I would be happy to connect at a play date, park, or library, etc., to see if I might be a good match for you and your family! Certifications / Clearance: - Minor in applied developmental psychology (completed 300 hour internship at Megan E. Daly Infant Development Program) - California Certificate of Clearance (required by CA public schools & includes a Department of Justice Background Check) - Infant / Child CPR First Aid Certified (2022), online renewed 2026 - Tuberculosis negative (tested 2025) - Up to date on vaccines

"UrbanSitter is my go-to for quality sitters! I can book weeks ahead of time or easily find a same-day sitter when in a bind. I even hired a part-time nanny during a daycare transition. Customer service is helpful and babysitters respond in a timely manner."
