Hello families! During the day, I am a Substitute Teacher for K-12 charter schools. In addition, I am a Tutor specializing in ESL, ELA and Reading Comprehention. I have a Master's degree in Teaching English as a Foreign Language and I've served in the Peace Corps as a TEFL Teacher and Trainer (Ukraine, 2[removed], and Uzbekistan 2002-2005. ) I am a very caring, fun and creative caregiver who thinks outside of the box! I like to create fun activities to keep the kids busy and engaged. Not a big fan of Tech for play or entertainment! I prefer Reading books/Storytelling, Arts & Crafts, Games, Outdoor Play, Music & Movement for the little ones (play a little bit of guitar), and Cooking. Lastly, I like helping out with pets and have experience with Seniors as well!

I have worked in a school setting for 9 years now working as a teacher assistant, a behavior therapist one on one for children with Autism, and providing services in home settings in addition to school settings. I also babysat for over a year full time while going to university. I graduated with my bachelors in psychology and my masters in counseling/clinical counseling. At this time, I am currently a high school counselor working full-time and have some time during the week in the evenings or on some weekends to babysit. I prefer picking up shifts occasionally. I am organized, responsible, trustworthy, punctual, empathetic, loving, friendly, and extremely playful. My empathetic nature has always benefited me when working with kids because they always gravitate towards me. Hello, my name is Ashley. I am punctual, trustworthy, energetic, and patient. I am bilingual in Spanish and fluently speak it as well. I have been babysitting for neighbors since I was a teen. Now, my nanny families come from word of mouth. I have worked with children in various settings (as a tutor, therapist, & teacher's assistant). I enjoy spending time outdoors, doing crafts, and creative play. I have watched children as young as three weeks old and up to younger adults (with autism and intellectual disabilities). I’m Haily, a 24 year old engineering student at USC! I am pursuing a dual degree in a Biomedical Engineering (B.S.) and Mechanical Engineering with an AI/ML specialization (M.S.) looking forward to finishing my collegiate career in December 2026. I am someone who loves fun activities like coloring, journaling, cooking, meditating and exploring nature. I have about 3 years of babysitting experience from babysitting my younger cousins in my hometown of Sacramento. I also have a younger sister who I love dearly that I grew up helping my mom taking care of! Additionally, I’ve tutoring 5th-8th grade students as a freelance tutor for the past 5 years, usually meeting these students in their home, building connections with parents, and helping them become more confident in all subjects, especially math!
