I love Children!!! I have extensive experience with all ages from newborn infants, babies, toddlers young children through junior high age in high school. I am experienced watching groups of kids, i’ve watched up to 8 if their ages are spread out, and they play well together, some same age - wedding and events! Hi there, I'm Rachel from Australia. I've worked with children for 15 years whilst travelling the world and absolutely love it! My experience includes: - Summer Camp Counsellor at Mountain Camp in California where I lived with, and was responsible for a cabin of 10 girls. I led outdoor activities including yoga, dance and drama, ropes course, lake activities and biking and hiking for children between 5 - 13 years old. - Teaching Assistant in the UK at a private school (Gad's Hill) working with children aged 3 - 16. This included assisting with daycare, english, math, art classes, taking swimming lessons and after school care. - Casual nannying jobs looking after infants - 15 year olds. - Ski instructing in Canada for 5 - 17 year olds. I have my level 2 CSIA ski instructor certification so can provide ski lessons and on-mountain care, depending on your child's ability level. I'm a big kid at heart and relate very easily with children, I'm also organised and believe that some structure can be really important. I've traveled teaching art around the world and i'm alway saving for another trip to expand my knowledge and friendships. My experience nannying spans over 15 years since my first little sibling was born when I was 10. I now have 3 younger siblings and have always felt like a second mom in the family. Caring for and nurturing children will always be part of my life because I firmly believe in mentorship. We all have to work together to become the people we are today.
