Hi. I’m Cameron, an athlete and attend Valencia High School. I have a natural love and care for children. I’ve been taking care of kids from the ages of newborn to 10 years old for several years. I have regularly cared for many infants for local families in Santa Clarita and can provide references. Since I am an athlete, I am hands on with the children and engaging them in active games and play that they enjoy. I love cooking and making meals or snacks for the kids I watch. I have taken care of children as after school care , weekends and also nighttime events when parents are out. Since I am a competive athlete as a a softball player and a former equestrian horse jumper, I have a high level of responsibility and naturally do the right thing to care for the children under my watch. I’m a responsible and caring college student currently pursuing my Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. I have hands-on experience working with children through my church daycare, where I help create a safe, fun, and nurturing environment. I’ve also served as a youth leader, guiding and supporting kids of various ages. In addition, I am a caregiver for my special needs sister, which has strengthened my patience, compassion, and ability to adapt to individual needs. I also have experience with pet sitting and am a pet owner myself, so I’m comfortable caring for furry family members as well. I have my CPR/First Aid certification and have had the pleasure of taking care of 3 year old twins with special needs, a 1 1/2 year old for 6 months, providing transportation for a 4 & 6 year old, as well as occasional/date night sitting for kids of all ages. I love children and love having the opportunity to take care of kids and watch them grow.

I have at least 5 years of babysitting experience. I can also help with Light Housekeeping and Cooking/Cleaning. I have a license and I am safe and reliable. Being a child caregiver/babysitter is something that means so very much to me! I love children and hope to transfer to University soon to teach in an elementary school setting. I am completed a volunteer internship with Kids Hope USA through Christian Association and Eagle Rock Elementary. I volunteered in my small home church before it closed as the Co-Lead Teacher in a Sunday School program. I have worked in a school setting for 9 years now working as a teacher assistant, a behavior therapist one on one for children with Autism, and providing services in home settings in addition to school settings. I also babysat for over a year full time while going to university. I graduated with my bachelors in psychology and my masters in counseling/clinical counseling. At this time, I am currently a high school counselor working full-time and have some time during the week in the evenings or on some weekends to babysit. I prefer picking up shifts occasionally. I am organized, responsible, trustworthy, punctual, empathetic, loving, friendly, and extremely playful. My empathetic nature has always benefited me when working with kids because they always gravitate towards me.
